This is a fun little routine that will teach you a couple of basic coin sleights. There are no
gimmicks involved. You're just doing a palms and switches.
The second switch is probably
the move that will take the most practice, in order to get the proper timing down. It's not very
difficult, but you need to be able to do it very smoothly in order for the illusion to work.
You also end reasonably clean, because when the spectator discovers that both holes are now in
one washer, all the initial heat will be on the washers. This gives you plenty of misdirection to
dump the one you're holding.
Besides this basic routine, there is also an extended routine
that includes more transformations and introduces some more handling elements. This is also good
stuff and well-taught. Once you've got the basic routine down, definitely move on to this one.

This is actually the second time I purchased "Holy Moly." I carried the first set around in my
pocket for about a year before one of the washers was lost. (And to prevent this from happening
again, I also purchased Joshua Jay's "Pro Carrier" in the same order, to store these washers along
with my gaffed coins.)
I like that the magic happens in the spectators hands, and I love
that spectator can examine the washers to look for moving holes or any other trickery.
In
my next order, I plan to purhase Sankey's "Holy Stretch," which adds one more magical moment to this
effect. For the price, I wish that Holy Stretch was included with Holy Moly. But I wouldn't go as
far as saying it's overpriced. As an item's value is whatever somebody willingly pay for it, and I'm
willing to pay for both pieces.

This is my favorite pocket trick ever! Two normal washers, one in their hand, one in yours. Visually
pull the hole of yours and make it travel to theirs.
The holes are real and not some fancy,
expensive, moving hole gimmick, just regular washers. The best part of this routine is that it's
organic, visual and surprisingly, EASY!
It's a true laymen killer (not literally). And for
this price, come on! Just get it.

This is another Sankey effect that I've recently picked up and I loved it when I saw it. I wondered
how many slights were being used, what advanced crazy move Jay had to use to pull it all off, and
then I popped in the DVD....
WOW.
Brilliant set up, and performance. This routine
is a lot of fun and simple enough for a beginner magician like myself to perform. Pick it up. It's a
blast.

I really like this as a replacement for copper silver routines. It is excellent in that it can be
performed totally impromptu when someone asks you to do magic. You can have them in your pocket and
say "I don't have anything with me, I just came from the hardware store to pick up some nuts and
bolts... well, let me see what I have..." You pull out the washers and the routines ae endless. I
would have liked a bit more comprehensive number of moved (Like Greg Wilson does in "ring leader"),
but I still gave it five stars because you can take the moves he teaches and come up with a wide
variety of stories and routines. Thank you.

This has to be one of the GREATEST sankey products ever. Not only is it practical, but it packs so
flat and plays incredibly big. I performed this at school on a live show and got the best reactions
and it totally made my reputation.
The gimmicks you get are not normal washers, the holes
are smaller than a normal washer. But with that aside, they still hide underneith your fingers very
well when you do the spellbound. THe effect is straight forward and simple. SO I highly suggest
buying the DVD. It's full of great bits to use and you learn a lot of really nice stuff. Plus it's
pretty cheap for what you are paying for. BUY NOW!!!!

This is a great bit for strolling acts. As with all presentations, you will need to practice the
moves, patter, and presentation. You can easily adapt the moves and ideas to other presentations.
Beginers could pick this up with a few days of practice.

I've gotten so many great reactions for this effect! I busk on the street and this effect has gotten
me ten dollar drops in my hat. It's AWESOME! The only down fall is, it's angle sensitive. You can do
this with two or three people facing you and it can't be done in the round. I still say buy thiss
effect if you're a strolling magician. I do my act on the street and wait for most of the crowed to
leave and there's people sometimes that wanna see more, then i pull this effect out. I've gotten two
drops in my hat from the same person because of this effect. Add to your cart!!

This is my favorite non-coin coin effect. of the simple handling and the advanced handling I only
use the advanced. The simple handling feels like it is over before it begins and with something like
a moving hole, there needs to be a bit more build-up. Jay Sankey does an excellent job teaching each
trick step-by-step. For beginner coin magicians the advanced handling will take a little work, but
once you have it down you will have a portable routine ready to go. For strolling magicians there is
the bonus of instant reset.
