They make and provide inexpensive ways for a broke magician to perform expensive illusions...that said, this is just rope, but you're not going to use it to parachute with, you're most likely like me who just uses soft pliable rope to cut. The description of thickness would be nice and couple more descriptions actually.

I tried out Uday's rope simply 'cause master magician Chris Capehart saw my pet rope routine(Thanks Richard Sanders) and thought it was very good, but suggested I use magicians rope instead of home depot's standard stuff. My first try was Uday's brand. I didn't like it for my application, but I'll keep it for the cut and restored routine.(hence the 3 stars)Anybody got any suggestions for a better quality magicians rope? My specific dislike is it doesn't slide across itself smoothly,it kills the visual in fiber optics extended.

The price was very reasonable with quick delivery. The rope is good quality; however, the more expensive "bright white" rope is the best--albeit more expensive as well. I plan on using the rope to make up a Professor Cheers effect and help a student interested in rope magic. Again, great value for the price.

Whenever I need rope I always get it in the largest amount I can. This rope is great, sturdy, soft and in the best colour there is, white!

Magicians always need rope and this stuff is of the highest standard. I gig with this stuff and do street magic with it all the time.

This rope is good priced and gets the job done, however it is a little thin. It’s more of a soft cord than it is a rope. If you are doing knot tricks the knots look a bit small, especially for things like knots off rope. Tie the knots big to help! If you have good scissors it will do general cut and restored just fine.

It does come with 10 standard rope tricks. Directions and pictures are so-so. It’s not likely you are buying this for the tricks though.

I prefer the “professional rope by TCC” which will get you larger easier to see knots as well as better matching the Tenyo gaffed rope trick if that matters to you.

I bought this with Bob Sheet's "Hang em High" DVD and it works great. It has worked great for the routine and I also use it for my other rope trick. It cuts easy and has been durable. It's really hard to beat the price too.

This rope is great: easy to hande, easy to cut and easy to restore! If you know the trick "cut and restore rope" that is to say! :-)

This is top quality rope for making your own tricks. Buy a good dvd or book to give you basics on rope presentations. I have seen top notch pros wow people witha simple rope.

Good rope for doing cut and restored rope routines. Especially for the price. I wouldn’t use it for routines like professor’s nightmare, though. I use a higher quality rope for that.
