The Gaussian strength is equivalent to knit balls of this size. The advantage of these are the stark
shade of white and the silence esp when using a leather chop cup, e.g.,
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S17665 (no longer available). There are complaints (see the smaller
set's comments) that the drop/hold is unpredictable. Well, kids, the balls are white and leatherish.
Use a pencil or similar and mark/scrape the location. You're suppose to cheat.

As mentioned, the gimmick in these is particularly weak and they don't work with most of my chop
cups. That said, I really like how they work with the Ickle Pickle cup I have (the wide mouth cup
holds a regulation baseball which pairs nicely with these balls). For most other cups, the odds are
these won't work.
I like the build quality of these balls a lot, much more than any other ball I've had for a cups and
balls routine.
However, as others pointed out, the magnet is way too weak. I have four
different chop cups, one of them with a very strong magnet that doesn't even work with these balls.
There is no way to get consistency in getting the cup stuck/dropped.
If you plan to use
this for a chop cup, don't even think of buying it.

They are beautiful balls, the only reason I gave them 2 stars and not one is because of how well
crafted they are. There are not enough magnets for it to consistantly stick to the chop cup. I will
still find another use for these.

I'm not sure if I just got a bad set, but there are not enough magnets for this to work properly.
There are 4 small magnets around the circumference leaving the top and bottom with no magnet. So if
the magnet has no contact with the cup, it will not hold.
I gave it 2 stars instead of one only
because I will use the balls as a final load for the 'shot glass' chop cup with a gag about
'regulation size' baseball and they are very well made in general.
Should have more magnets.

The finest leather baseballs on the planet and the only sets made in this size for MAXIMUM
visibility on the platform! Come very highly recommended!

The Chop Cup Balls Large White Leather by Leo Smetsers look great, has a nice weight to them and are
beautifully made. But unfortunately the magnetic ball does not stick to the cup. Either the magnet
is weak or the ball is too heavy. Either way, I can't use the balls!

I own several sets because they are the finest I've seen since Mike Rogers' were available. White
balls are ideal for visibility and can be seen from across the room very easily. They also perfectly
match the Leo Smetsers' congruent, final load baseballs. Magic from a professional for professionals
and comes very highly recommended.

These are nice balls. Good weight and feel to them. I like how they bring some theme to the chop cup
with sports ball final loads being widely available. Really interesting item.
