Man this is so good!
First of all, Cody shows a full performance... and what a great
ambitious card routine! Cody is very entertaining as he goes from ambitious to card-to-mouth and
then finally card-to-box. And guess what... he teaches it all! This is truly a compete routine and,
I don't say this often, one I will actually perform. There's nothing extra to carry around so it's
truly perfect as a worker.
In the preview he mentions an "underground" force. That force
is actually really good... and it works on even the difficult spectator. I was happy he taught that
move... but then he kept going and taught a really solid and sneaky in-your-face to do a certain
fold that many people have trouble with. These two moves alone are worth the price of this trick.
But wait until you see the gimmick. You might laugh it's simplicity, but it's a powerful gimmick
with a lot of potential. Whenever you need a something-to-cardbox, you can use this. (And by the
way, youlll learn a couple other sleights as well... this trick provides a lot of value!)
Cody does a great job teaching. There were a couple other moves that he kind of teaches a little
too quickly. I wish he would have slowed down for them. But overall, he does a great job teaching
this whole routine and he keeps your attention with his sense humor.
Cody, you need to
tell us how you had so many coincidences in your explanation. Haha! (If you get the trick, you'll
understand)
I'm totally a new fan and I am genuinely thrilled with this trick. As you know
if you've read my reviews, you know that I usually reserve five star ratings for tricks that are
extremely visual and "magical". But this trick packs so much value and a routine that is so well
done that I have to make an exception. Five stars, Cody!
(By the way, I always try to be
honest and straightforward in my reviews, while being respectful to the magician. If you appreciate
my reviews, can you please click the "Yes" button below beside the question, "Did this review help
you?" It's not like I actually benefit in any way by your clicking it... but it would be nice to see
if my reviews are helpful or not. I hope they are. If you ever have suggestions or comments or
questions about my reviews, please feel free to leave me a constructive comment. I'm just trying to
be helpful. I love the Penguin community and hope that I can someday contribute my own product. :-)
Thanks for reading and for any (hopefully positive, but either way, at least kind) feedback!)

This is a lot more than the title implies.
You are basically getting an ambitious card routine
with a unique and killer ending.
In addition to the actual card to box effect Cody teaches
you:
A simple to do card force.
His Ambitious Card Routine, including Card-to-Mouth.
A great new, silent way to do the Mercury Card Fold.
You certainly get a lot more here
for the price than most, who would just give you the ending card to box effect.
A few
important notes:
1. Most of the moves are thoroughly taught, but there are a few that he glosses
over assuming you do. They are basic moves that you should already know, but if you are completely
new to card magic, this may be a bit much to learn, but certainly worth it. And noting knuckle
busting.
2. No, the card box can not be examined by the spectator, but then again, I
wouldn't let them anyways.
3. The ending move can be seen if someone is right behind you
looking, but I think that can be covered and again, nobody should be standing there anyways if they
want to see your magic.
With all of that said, I'd still give it 5 stars and intend to add
this to my list of working material.

Cody Fisher’s Card to Card Box is SO organic and natural! No expensive or suspicious-looking
magician’s props. (Do you normally carry around a crystal box with a folded card in it?)
Cody shares amazing underground sleights that are as casual-looking as they are effective. He
teaches a force I’ve never heard of and his own version of a mercury fold that I think by itself is
worth the price of the download. It’s lighting-fast, absolutely silent and totally invisible!
There is a gimmick that you have to make, but it’s super easy. Anybody can make it in minutes
and with Cody’s handling it is totally invisible! And it’s hiding in plain sight the whole time!
Cody also shares the psychology behind each phase of his ambitious card routine. If you’ve
ever wanted to add ambitious card to your repertoire, but found it daunting, Cody’s routine is
possibly for you. I highly recommend this download!
Thanks for sharing this gem, Cody!

I learned this from Cody 20 years ago and have used it ever since. You can use any brand of cards.
You know the trailers where everyone goes wild at the end? This actually happens, every time you
perform it. HIGHLY recommended

Most of the time I prefer non-card tricks or mentalism. Part of the reason is I never had a great
teacher (or video) to help me develop the appropriate force skills. Cody Fisher is one of the best
teachers on video I have seen in many Penguin purchases. Whether you are a novice or an expert, he
offers so much more than just the amazing card to card box trick. The effect is powerful and the
teaching is top notch. Simply the best!

You are getting a lot for your money here. Techniques, routines, ideas. All solid information you
will use. Love the force taught here. Cody knows his stuff and you can tell it’s all material that
works in the real world.

There is a LOT going on in this video, you are going to learn so much. All you need is a deck of
cards, the card box and a blank card. No the blank card is not special or gimmicked in any way, you
use a blank card so once signed, you are not destroying a different card in the deck, you always are
playing with a ‘full deck’ - no pun intended. You have do do a little something to the box, once
only and you are ready to go. It will take you under a minute to do and you are all set. Beginners
are going to learn some sleights, intermediates and pros are going to learn some great twists and
modifications on moves and techniques that you are already doing. Cody does an excellent job of
breaking down all the moves step by step and the camera shots are superb. No big surprise that if
you are going to end up with a card folded, that you will be using the Mercury Card Fold. If you
have never done it or have had a problem doing it, you are going to learn an amazing and effective
way of doing it that will be part of any other routine you already do. This alone is worth the price
of this effect. This is nice, very nice and well worth the investment and the practice time. This is
an amazing routine that you will use.

This is a really nice card to box method that will go into my working moves.
The
underground force is really nice as well, but I think it's unnecessary and is better reserved for
other tricks if you are using a blank cards for them to sign.
If you are a seasoned card
performer, you'll know most of the routine right up to the end. If you are new, you'll want to spend
some time brushing up on a good ambitious card routine.
Cody does, briefly, cover his
routine but there are several sleights that require practice to perform fluidly.
I like his
take on the card fold, but it didn't work for me as I perform in a t-shirt most of the time. Not a
big deal because I'm comfortable with my own Mercury move.
The card to box is where the
real fun is, though. He does a great job of explaining it along with some psychology for presenting
it. I'll admit, it fooled me cleanly the first time I saw it. You can tell Buddy had really thought
through every part of it.
For moderate to advanced card magicians, this is a drop in your
set download with a bonus force. For newer magicians, you'll need to invest time and practice into a
good ambitious routine (which you should do anyway!)
Solid 4 stars.

This is what you want in a trick download: a full routine and not some quick, flash effect over in 3
seconds. In fact, there are four effects that occur BEFORE we get to "Card to Card Box". It's a
great sequence that may seem familiar, but it's expertly constructed, escalates well, and will fry
laypeople. This routine (or some variation of it) is what many pros do in the real world at a bar or
corporate setting to this very day.
Cody's teaching is clear and concise, and the download
lasts almost 33 minutes. There were two new ways of doing sleights I hadn't seen before. I like that
he kept his A.C. down to 2 phases, and though he glides over his p***, cutting the deck at that
point is as good if not better as it adds to the absurdity of "here's how the trick is done."
While everything here move-wise is relatively easy, this download is probably best for
intermediates and above. You'll need to devote some real practice (god forbid!) to get the timing
and misdirection down as slick as Cody, but a routine this classic deserves it.

Fun, easy routine with great misdirection. The force Cody shares is awesome! It looks so fair. The
tips on the mercury fold are super helpful too. And to top it off,the card to box method is devious
as F.
