I just received my White Styx playing cards today, and am enjoying the handling characteristics right out of the tuck case.

They are just slick enough to feel like butter when fanning or cutting, but not to slippery. The overall handling is comparable to Bicycle Gold Standards, with a good possibility of durability in the coming weeks.

I always save one deck with the wrapper intact, but tend to beat the heck out of my handling decks...maybe one day I will wonder why I have so many one-of-a-kind new decks stored strategically about the house, but for now they are my prized collection...and both versions of Styx are some of my favorites.

The brown and bronze version came with a blank face and a double back, and this version has a blank face card but the double back surprised me...white Styx on one side and brown/bronze on the other! This will open up some fun possibilities.
