The explanation is good but Jay Sankey's side comments are just plain weird. He appears to just
babble and any strange thing that comes into his mind comes out of his mouth regardless of whether
it is appropriate or not. I don't believe I will ever buy another of his products unless I can see
that the video is performed by someone else.

Absolutely phenomenal effect. Jay has never failed to disappoint, but this is my absolute favorite
of his. A fair warning, pick up about 5 decks of cards to practice with, you will go through them
before you're ready to perform. But it's a very easy trick to do, and gets amazing reactions. I
never leave home without a deck of cards and a paperclip now.

If i were in a life or death situation and someone said to perform a trick i would do this. It had a
great plot with an unbeleivable finish. I have performed this trick hundreds of times and the best
part is you can hide the card wherever you want beforhand.

Sankey is probably the Marlo of our day, and this is another great one of his creations. This trick
is the ultimate topper to any ambitious card routine. Personally, I wouldn't use it as a closer to
the whole act but it definitely has the potential to act as such.
This one does take a fair
amount of practice to be done PROPERLY. This isn't one of those tricks where you watch the video
and run into the next room to show Aunt Marcy. To flawlessly get this down you'll have to set aside
some time to practice. But, it will be very much worth it.

I've never been a fan of card magic, but I knew I had to put something in my routine, so I ordered
this trick. I didn't put another thought in it, and when it arrived at my door I had completely
forgotten about it. It sat on my counter for 2 days, then finally I figured "what the hell" and put
it in the dvd player. The shock I felt when I realized how powerful this trick was was unreal. This
can be performed by any deck of cards on a moments notice, the sleight of hand is genius and can be
performed with people at any angle, and with practice you could master this trick in two hours and
4-5 decks. Huge respect and compliments to Jay, I never leave my house without a deck of cards and a
paperclip in my pocket now.

I love to smile and laugh as most of us do. I was able to do lots of both watching Jay Sankey.
This isn't brand new but it holds it's own with the very best of the very best illusions being
released today.
Brilliant minds sometimes go in several directions at once.
Mr. Sankey
does that but always manages to bring everything together to make brilliant memorable points as he
walks you slowy and carefully step by step through his illustion so nothing will be hard to grasp.
I'm still a beginner and the effect takes practice. For me, at least 4 hours to feel
comfortable showing it, but it is oh so worth it!
I was feeling a bit down last night so I
popped in Mr. Sankey and was laughing out loud again...WHILE LEARNING
TREMENDOUS MAGIC!
If you aren't such a big fan of silly humor, don't let that stop you from learning a genius
method from a genius.
1. The effect is easy to understand thanks to the teacher. medium
difficulty (for a beginner) to achieve,
2 I would rate it 9.2 on the Awesomeness scale of
10 as far as impact on your audience.
3. AND, this is an effect that can be done anytime
anywhere at a moments notice with a 2 second reset.
4. You won't have to repurchase
anything! You just will need an ordinary everyday paperclip and some cards.
I am so happy
with this purchase. :)

My first impression of the basic technique and the way it was used in routines, was that it was "too
magical". In other words, you didn't leave room for the spectator to come to any other conclusion,
other than the fact you must've pulled off a very deceptive switch.
So my fear was that
instead of getting a "How did you do that?" reaction, I'd get a "When did you switch it?" reaction.
As it turns out, I was completely wrong. Maybe because the finish is so disorienting, the spectator
simply can't process it right away. Maybe the next day they're able to deconstruct it, but by then,
I'm long gone.
So yes, I'd recommend this very highly. Aside from the great reactions,
it's really very easy to do. And whether you're laughing with him or at him, Jay's tutoring is
always fun to watch.

This is one of my favorite Jay Sankey effects out there. The only preparation you need is to fold a
card and put a paperclip on it. The rest is impromptu. You can let the spectator choose any card
they want. They can even name a card and take it. There is no force that you need. The card is then
even signed. There is a bit of slight of hand involved but nothing too difficult. For a great trick
that is good to do under all circumstances pick this up.

Sitting through Jay Sankey's instructional footage is one of the most agonizing experiences of my
life. Not only does his cameraman swing around and zoom in and out for no apparent reason, but
Jay's juvenile attempts at humor (mostly pointless references to nudity and underwear) take about as
much time as the actual instruction. The whole thing could have been half as long. If you're 11
years old, you may find him hilarious. Just my honest personal reaction.
Now, with that
said, please note how many stars I gave it. The only reason I gave it 5 stars is because I couldn't
give it 10! This is far-and-away THE BEST card trick I've ever encountered. Jay Sankey is not the
first genius to be somewhat eccentric. You can choose to concentrate on how annoying he is, or you
can learn from him.
Be prepared for a different kind of reaction to this one! People will
very often not clap or cheer; they won't say "wow" or "what the bleep"; They just sit there in
silence as their brain unravels!
Whenever you do Paperclipped, use it as your closer.
DON'T DO ANOTHER EFFECT AFTER THIS ONE. Finish the trick and don't say anything else. Just spread
the cards for them to examine and walk away.
The DVD would be worth the 30 bucks if this
were the only trick on it! But you get several more, along with some other good hints and tips on
your magic performance. So just relax and listen to the genius.

For lay people - It KILLS! Love the great nice and easy handling. Even if you have a hard time to do
a "Me***** F***" you can always concentrate on the presentation, as Jay teaches you how to make this
perfect every single time. Love it!
