I have been doing card manipulations since I was nine years old (I'm now 72) and the poker sized
manipulation cards by Trevor Duffy are absolutely the best! You can produce more card fans and
individual cards than ever before. The cards are easily broken in. They initially need no fanning
powder but adding fanning powder makes them even better. I wish they had these available 50 years
ago. I highly recommend these cards. They are definitely the best manipulation cards this magician
has come across.

Requires fanning powder for card fans. These are soft and feel great in my hands. It’s a great deck
that just needs powder and you’re good to go, no breaking in. With that said because the cards are
soft, a lighter touch is needed for single productions in order for them to “pop”. Finish is
consistent on both sides.
I ordered these cards because I had tried a friend's deck. His were bridge size and handled
beautifully. However, since I've always done manipulation with poker size cards, I ordered these on
the assumption that only the size would differ. Untrue. They are still called MURPHY'S but they are
not at all alike. They are limp, fan in clumps, and lack any spring, an essential quality for many
sleights. The original MURPHY'S cards did not need fanning powder; these have a small paper insert
that says to use powder if you plan to do any fans.
