Beautiful little effect. Can lead into other routines. I recommend "Simon's L.'s packet killer
DVD" for a nice tutorial on it plus a whole range of other killer effects if you have gaff cards
laying around.
In conclusion - Great, easy, fin and visual. Im happy with the purchase!

The effect works fine, but it seems too obvious that the four face down cards "becomes queens". I
dont think, that the routine helps this problem. The handling seems boring. I think "Ultimate wild
card" does this much more convincing.
The instructions are not impressive and does only
just about cover the effect.

Here is another great packet trick. The reason why this is so incredible is because the spectator
clearly sees 8 of the same card, and at the end of the trick, with no switches, 8 cards have
magically changed. If you don't mind carrying around some extra stuff, think about this one. Your
spectators will love it.

VERY easy to learn and extremely visual! I've ALWAYS gotten great reactions with this...people start
"gasping" before the trick is even over because they can see where it's going...and when the cards
have all become transformed they just go wild! Maybe that's why they call it the Wild Card.

Out of the package and with some practice this is a pretty good, especially for a beginning magician.
But, by doing a little research, this can become a very strong routine for the more advanced worker.
It's not bad as it arrives- and it arrived quickly. If you want to turn it up a notch,
look to work done by Simon Lovell or Tommy Wonder for some really strong ideas to improve it.(PM me
for details)
I feel it was worth the money, especially as a Cool Box deal.
If you like
taking a basic idea and seeing where you can go with it, grab it.

This printed instructions that came with this effect are probably THE worst I've ever seen. Not only
are the instrcutions poorly written, if you do the initial arrangement of the cards you end up with
extras. I cannot emphasize how awful the written instructions are. The learn video under my penguin
magic saves this trick. If it had only come with written instrctions provided, I would not only have
been MAD, but it would have ended up in the magic drawer.
You should get this; it works great as
a quick "in-between" trick. It's easy to do, and it really does fool most spectators.

Among packet card tricks, one of the most popular ones is Wild Card. It uses just 9 cards, and first
you reveal eight cards that are all nine of spades. Then you introduce an additional card, the queen
of hearts, which is a "wild card", and with its help you magically transform each of the nine of
spades into a queen of hearts. It's an amazing effect that needs to be seen to be believed. Google
to find a video of Tommy Wonder's "Tamed Cards", which is arguably the greatest performance of this
trick.
The handling for Wild Card requires some sleight of hand, so this trick isn't
suitable for a complete beginner. However most intermediate magicians with a knowledge of basic
sleights should find it well within their ability. Once you've mastered the moves, which are fairly
straight forward, it's all about the presentation, and it's worth putting time and effort to learn
how to present this well. The product being sold here comes with an instructional DVD featuring Rob
Stiff teaching Wild Card, and a number of variations and tips shown by magician Gerry Griffin. -

I've been doing this trick for over 30 years.
It's easy to to do, it's super-spectacular,
and has a lovely rhythm to it.
No, you can't hand the cards out for examination, but I
still gave it five stars, because it's cheap and entertaining.
