I was really hoping this would be well made and work like the video and guess what neither of those
are true. When I drop it like the video says, the thing doesn't fully open and left with what looks
like a deformed card. Misleading promo video like usual. Really had my hopes up for this one. I'm
fully honest in all my reviews in magic and hope the next version is way better.
It seems
like all new magic is made with elastic. Tension, release tension, and the elastic does the rest.
What ever happened to well made products with test and quality control?

Way too flimsy and fragile.

I saw the previews on youtube and was impressed. I bought from a local shop, got the prop in and saw
how it worked, and put down for a month (never practiced it.)
pulled it out last week to
practice and do a video to post. got the prop out and with in minutes the "gimmick" part broke.
very disappointed! It did come with spare part...but why should I have to fix after a couple
minutes of handling?
Other than that...neat idea and would love to use for online videos.

My only issue is that the gimmick is quite fragile and should have been made with thin
plastic or some other durable material.

I really enjoy this effect! As with any gimmick made with this material.. it is going to break. But
the visual of the deck popping open is awesome and catches your spectators off guard!

Really happy to get this gimmick, but unfortunately after practicing 4 or 5 times it broke, way to
fragile that's why the reason of 4 stars.
After 5 minutes it was fully repaired. (Super
easy to repair)
Really loved the online instructions, Jason it's very meticulous about how
to do a new gimmick and how to repair it.
For me it's the best opening and finishing trick
I've got at the moment. When performing for the family to test the impact it was awesome. It's
really mind blowing.

This is really great. Effect looks incredible and it is such an opener.
It brings a deck
into any situation in such a casual and magical way.
LOVE IT.
Wish it was made
on reds. And some corners are peeling here and there. Small peanuts. Take good care of it... and
or buy a couple.
That is what I did.
KUDOS and one of the best effects I got in
a LONG time.

the trick is brilliant and the gimmick is really well made

First this a great effect, practical in the real world. Not difficult but takes a bit of confidence.
There are a few issues that are fair to mention up front. The gimmick is made of a thick paper
and an elastic component. The paper won't last forever. I keep mine in a little yellow pay envelope
for protection. Also that is how I present the trick (something precious in it's own little
package). You would not want to jam this in a pocket with other stuff in it.
The elastic will
need repair at some point. Jason has very thorough instructions on the FB group about how to repair
and I think these are in the main instructions as well.
Many if not all of the gimmicks will
need a slight modification to open properly. Jason has detail and easy instructions for how to do
this on the FB group and it is a few seconds work. I can understand someone saying this should work
out of the box. It should. I think this is something that Jason was making for himself and some
compromises had to be made to have them massed produced. At any rate I totally get not wanting to
mess with gimmicks. In this case I made the effort for an amazing effect.
