This is a great version of the standard Monte but the finale is that all 3 cards change. I thing
this one is superb as the spectator never sees it coming - either did I. You can make this with any
deck with something a little extra. Yes, there is something you have to make, but when you combine a
gimmick with some sleight of hand or 2 different principles together, you get an amazing effect that
will blow them away. To make the gimmick you will already have it at home or make a quick trip to
the Dollar Store. It will take just but a few minutes to make.
David is going to teach you
a new principle that will not only be applicable to card effects but will have other applications.
Being armed with a ‘new principle’ is invaluable in our trade. It will allow you to do things that
you have not been able to do before - it is brilliant. This in itself it more than worth the price
of this effect so process it like you are getting Change for a Five for free. David does a perfect
job of teaching you the three phases of this effect, clearly, concisely with great camera shots, you
won’t miss a thing.
The slight/move you learn is very simple even if you are a novice with
cards, a little practice yes but noting sophisticated. A little more time to learn the routine and
you are ready to go. This is really an amazing trick with a climax ending that no-one will see
coming. I really can’t wait to start fooling people with this, it’s truly a winner. Thanks for
sharing David!

(Did you see what I did there in the title?)
Regal is a genius. His latest book is WONDERFUL
and full of great creative ideas like this one.
This is pure Regal. A small gimmick, a tiny bit
of work, and an incredible effect. The trick can be made in FIVE MINUTES (see what I did there?)
and will be ready to go for walk-around or close-up work.
Really, this is a great piece of magic
for a small price. The monte is a clear plot, easily understood by virtually anyone, and incredible
when performed properly.
Very highly recommended!

This is one of the coolest Three Card Montes I have ever seen. I would have never guessed how he did
it. The technique is sweet, the outcome is devastating. There are some moves to practice, actually
it's more about getting the pattern down. The moves should come easily. With minimal work you will
have a major illusion. This is super deceptive and well controlled. David Regal is a Champ, his
tutorials are always excellent !!!

This trick is one you will want to perform over and over again. I found the explanation to be very
thorough and clear. It will take some practice but it is worth the time you put into it. Get the
trick, practice for a little while and you will be performing in no time.

This is really fantastic. I've performed many monte routines in my time. Most are very similar in
method but with interesting little twists. This is a method I've not come across and I cant wait to
try it out. Very little prep and teaching is very good. Highly recommended.

Bottom line is, this is a really good trick. I found the video a bit lacking, however. The
introductory remarks could have been shorter, and the actual step by step “how to” could have been
made a little easier to follow. I would like to have seen a recap of the instructions at the end.
Just the steps, and preferably an overhead or over the shoulder view from the performer’s
perspective, so the viewer doesn’t have to keep translating left and right.

I watched the performance......I was fooled:)
I have been a 3 card Monte fan for ever and often
use it in walk around situations.
I normally stay away from gimmicks in this routine, but today
that’s going to change.
Yes there is a gimmick to this but it’s very easy to do. Really simple
and so cool.
If you haven’t done a 3 card Monte before it will take a bit of practice to get the
slight sorted, but the rest is a very easy routine to learn.
David presents well and his video
is thoroughly explained.
It’s worth the 5 stars

If you've seen the "Change for Five" download, you know where that phrase comes from.
There's no
other phrase in world language to describe how open, how startling, how beautiful this Monte is.

A wonderful version of 3 card monte. Smart new principal, and the variation on the sleight is
actually easier and slicker than the traditional move executed with tented cards. Bravo, Mr. Regal.

I've always liked the 3 card monte plot, but I haven't taken the time to learn one. I think this
video will change that. I love the ending of this one. It's so powerful, you don't go to your
pockets or mess with a deck, and pow, all the cards have changed. This is a combination of a few
different principals, all working together to fool the heck out of whoever you show this to. This is
awesome. I can't express how much I like this. He teaches a principal that can be used for many
applications. Get this.
