Pennies came with oil stains that could not be washed off. I contacted customer service and their
solution was to polish them. These are 1943 steel pennies colored copper...a fake light orangish
copper. Doesn't pass as real in my opinion.

Ordered a set of these to go with 'Little Hand'. They work just fine, but when the package came, the
coins were brand new pennies in a small plastic bag and they had some sticky substance on them,
dripped in spots (not a coating) like they had something sticky spilled on them. I tried cleaning
them, but it had stained them. They looked bad, as some parts were brand new and shiny, and some
parts of the same coin were old and tarnished.
I notified Penguin, and they sent out a new pack
ASAP. The new pack had the same stuff, but less of it and they weren't as badly stained.
So, be
aware they may come stained.

I have purchased steel core coins in the past that have split apart. Not the case here. Very well
constructed.

I purchased these three pennies to use my Raven on. These three pennies are simply very old pennies.
Although these pennies do stick to magnets, they stick to them insayingly hard. Do not recommend if
you have it to use with the raven. (Tip for those looking for a nice coin for the raven, check out
on Penguin Magic the steel core Quarter)
Got these pennies for quick vanishes which will work as long as the spectators don’t see them too
long or get to handle them. From a step back they look fine, but get too close or mess with them and
they will set off the Sus alarm. I see them as worth having, but they are not something that I would
bring direct attention to in a performance…!
