I have done a lot of bill in lemons over my 28 years in magic. This is by far the best I have done!
The DVD is great - this is worth WAY more than the price. I can not recommend this enough!

I am not crazy about the single effect DVD trend. However, in this case, there truly are countless
details that Chris has communicated that make this DVD special. Years ago, I performed a (simple)
version of this in shows and occasionally when friends came over. It is a classic for a reason.
Chris has detailed comprehensive information about how to prepare, structure your set and
how to perform "Inception". Keep in mind, you are really getting several effects structured into
one presentation:
1. Bill Change (initial effect)
2. Rope Routine (intermediate
effect)
3. Center Tear (option for intermediate effect)
4. "Inception" Bill in Lemon
(finale)
I do not perform rope magic nor am I thrilled about a center tear as a transition
effect to a bill in lemon. However, with a little personal investment of creativity, anyone can use
this structure to create a lovely set.
Highly recommended!

If you don't currently perform the bill in lemon, Inception is worth taking a look. I wouldn't
consider it the ultimate take on "bill in fruit", but there are useful routining ideas here. If you
combined this with ideas from Carl Cloutier's Bill in Kiwi and Doc Eason's bill in lemon (which also
uses the Crown Royal bag), you would have a solid foundation upon which to build your own routine.

If you are new to bill in lemon, you will be happy with this. That said, there is absolutely
nothing new here other than a slight presentational tweak to the Spill method. Yes, he does teach a
rope trick, bill switch and cetner tear but again, there are no new methods to any of those. If you
are new to magic, this will be an incredible value. If you have been around a while and already
have experience with BIL, you will likely feel this was overpriced.

Beware the other reviews. You do NOT get a 5 minute routine...nor do you get a 15 minute routine.
You do not get ANY routine, as such, since to me a routine INCLUDES script and a complete
choreography.
You don't even get a performance video.
You DO get a solid series
of moves to perform the Bill in Lemon. Very well taught and very well thought out.
Can you
turn this into a 5 or 15 minute routine? Sure, but you'll have to do that yourself.
His
explanations of the ropes is ok, but since he repeatedly explains that you can do just about ANY
trick as an interlude, why bother to explain the ropes? (As an aside, he should wash his ropes.
They looked filthy.)
The explanation of the center tear is ..ok. I'd again, liked to have
seen his actual routine in action, so I could judge how the audience handles the transition from
bill trick to mindreading trick and back again.
But, his actual handling of the bill in
lemon is nice and it will probably find a place in my show.
But overpriced a tad without a
full performance of the routine with both the ropes and the center tear (and card trick).

Not just a piece of magic, but a well thought of complete routine. Randall’s teaching is easy to
understand, and the live show on the disc comes with and without running commentary,
If you want
a baffling routine that’ s versatile and fun to perform, this is it.
Content excellent, production not as good. I would have liked to see more live shows using the
routine in different venues.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely.
I think this is one of the best practicle routines for bill in lemon.
I've always been a big fan of the bill in lemon. I learned the signed bill in lemon from Doc Eason's
bar magic videos in 1998.
The loading of the bill into the lemon has been made more
deceptive by Chris. Now anyone can do the trick, under fire. If you've ever been shy about doing
this tried and true classic of magic, get Inception and learn not only an easy method, but a solid
15 minute routine that you can perform anywhere, for any audience.
