Everyone knows that Paul Draper is the epitome of professionalism in magic and mentalism. Before the
COVID crisis, he has been the greatest source I've ever encountered for professional advice, insight
and information. So it's no surprise that as the entire live performance industry must shift to the
new circumstances, Paul is leading the way in forging a path for other mystery performers to follow
as they navigate the possibilities of professional success in a virtual world.
I assumed
there was no hope of finding work as a magician in this challenging time. Paul is living proof that
people—who are craving live entertainment more than ever—are willing to take a bet on virtual
versions of services they can no longer access. I feel renewed hope that there is a path forward for
not only myself but magicians around the world who desperately need not only a revenue stream, but a
creative outlet and the ability to connect with spectators again. Magic doesn't exist without an
audience - follow Paul's advice, and you will find your audience before you know it!

Paul has done it again. If you’re looking to expand your repertoire to meet our ever changing
market, this is the best resource for you. Some brilliant thinking and advice about lighting, mics,
tables, cameras, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO START PERFORMING ONLINE! Well done Paul!

Paul Draper used the COVID-19 lockdown as an opportunity to take a hard left turn with his magic
business. Realizing that online video and live Zoom-type shows are the present (and possibly the
future) of Magic, he has not only assembled his home studio, but he did more than 50 live Zoom shows
in the first six weeks of the lockdown. These show were as varied as children’s birthday parties,
shows for underprivileged kids, corporate magic and keynotes. All from the same home studio.
In other words, like everything Paul does, this is real-world, practical stuff based on actual
experience. I’ve used his advice on building my own “Zoom room,” and it saved me a ton of time and a
bundle of money, especially compared to the advice from other so-called “experts.”
Highly
recommended.

Paul Draper covers EVERYTHING you need to adapt to the new trend of virtual performances.
On top of the basics of lighting, sound, backdrop, video, and performing do's and don't s,
you'll learn why the quickie, Instagram mode of performing magic will fail miserably in this new
medium.
All of the pitfalls and successes of performing virtually are clearly identified.
Take this opportunity to learn (in under 30 minutes nonetheless!) from someone who was hitting the
ground running when this pandemic hit. You will benefit greatly.

I purchased this video after Paul lectured at our I.B.M ring meeting and I found the information
both useful and relevant even to non-magic presentations. Paul's delivery, voice & pacing was
extremely professional and easy to understand. Although it appeared as if he had produced this video
in a hurry and by himself (as we all are right now) even his "goofs" were informative as it showed
what it looks like if you make the slightest mistake while on a live broadcast. He covered lighting,
sound, cameras, blocking, framing, show content, audience interaction and more. This was a great
value at $15 and something I will watch over & over before attempting to perform live on camera!

I've been gearing up for some of my first online shows, and Paul's information is wonderful help. As
I just taped myself yesterday, I was asking some of the very questions Paul answered about blocking,
lighting, sound, and how to be interactive through video. (As a kid-centered family performer, I've
also been a fan of the "Blue's Clues" method for awhile now.) Thanks, Paul, for a great primer on
entering what I think is a brave new world for many of us.

Once again Paul Draper draws us deep into the world of magic in his magic way. This time instead of
routines and chops, he's giving us the straight story on HOW TO create you ONLINE show, WITH the
stuff that you already have. GREAT JOB PAUL!

I can't imagine Paul's video looking any better than it already does with lighting and a laptop that
you probably already have. You can do this.
One tip shows how expensive equipment might be
detrimental to a magic show, this video gives you the confidence to just do it.
Besides the
technical he covers psychology, presentation and how to choose effects that will work online.
His thoughts on interacting with the audience are worth the price charged.
