If you currently are, or even considering, putting on an online magic show and want your audience to leave knowing that you are a true professional when it comes to online magic shows, then you absolutely need to watch this video.

As a couple examples in the video mentioned, it really does not come off looking professional when the performer needs to stop in the middle of his show to mute somebody, unmute somebody, let somebody into the room, doesn’t realize that they’re on mute while they’re talking etc. etc.

Also, things happen in real time and having someone else to address those issues and take care of them makes it look like to your audience that nothing ever went wrong. It could be things like having the stage manager play some back up music during a delay for the next performer. There’s a whole host of things that could be done. We as professional performers we should be focused on delivering our best performance and not running around trying to take care of technical issues in the middle of our own show.

You are getting 90 minutes of advice from a professional stage manager and professional performer who has probably done more online magic performances than most. With that said, I think it’s a ridiculously cheap price for much needed advice that many performers will definitely benefit from.
