You do not need to own Volume One to own Volume Two!

Remastered Volume Two: Psychological Forces is a book dedicated to the art of Psychological Mentalism. Through this 180 paged book, you will learn over 20 new effects including propless effects, presentation focused effects, new principles, stage effects, card effects, thought provoking theory, billet effects and so much more. The majority of the effects aren’t language dependent, meaning anyone, anytime and anywhere can perform these jaw dropping effects. The book is designed for beginners, intermediate performers and seasoned professionals. So much so, that at the start of the book you’ll learn a simple (yet powerful) opener where you divine a thought of tic-tac flavor and at the end of the book you’ll learn how to create your own Psychological Forces.

The Mirror 2.0 – The Participant thinks of a flavor, the performer divines or predicts the thought with great accuracy.

FRQZXW – The participant is shown a group of cards with different random jumble of letters and numbers on each card. The participant decides on a card and they think of a random word that pops into their mind. The performer divines the thought of word, with no Dual Reality, Stooging or Anagrams. Included are a variety of variations from Ben Sleight, Luke Turner and Emma Wooding.

Triangle in a Circle – This section is dedicated to talking about Icons and their relation to Psychological Forces.

The Letter Box – My twist on the 37 force. Not only is this effect less restrictive but this effect has a higher success rate and has an engaging presentation.

The Humanistic Response – The participant thinks of a Number, Color and Structure. The performer divines everything while providing a detailed reading.

Let’s Get Retro – The performer presents a pad of paper. The participant (using the pad) thinks of a retro video game and the performer divines the game, the console as well as thoughts from other random participants within the room.

Justifying the One to Nine Force – Through this section, you’ll learn new ways to perform the classic One to Nine force and new effects including a book divination, a playing card divination and more!

A Seasonal Exchange 2.0 – The participant thinks of a season and a color they associate with the season… the performer divines BOTH.

Additional Opposites – The participant thinks of two opposites (free choice) the performer divines both thought of opposites in full.

The Captain Principle – A brand new principle to use in fishing systems. Not only does this help you nail thought of colors, pictures or words but this technique allows for a more engaging and convincing divination.

In the Sand – A brand new twist on the 7 force. The participant imagines slowly drawing a number in the sand. The performer divines the thought of number with great accuracy. This effect provides an engaging detailed presentation, a higher hit rate and a more convincing divination.

Turning Page – A brand new twist on the classic book test. You will learn a variety of principles some Psychological some not. This ingenious principle allows you to provide one of the fairest tests of mind reading you could possibly do.

A Designed Fate – The performer presents a prediction. Two participants together, create a playing card. The performer reveals the playing card to be a complete match!

W.H.P – The performer presents a prediction. The participant imagines a coin (invisible) they imagine a coin in one of their hands. They do this again and again… and again (four times over). With no one ahead, no weird gimmicks and no puzzles, the performer can reveal their prediction which matches their decisions. W.H.P was praised by Phedon Bilek for its clever thinking and unique method.

X Marks the Spot – A unique twist on the classic X Marks the Spot effect, seen in 13 Steps to Mentalism.

Flip Flap Principle – A brand new force. The participant is shown a billet, business card or playing card. With one side reading “heads” and the other side reading “tails”. The participant flips the card back and forth in their hands and stops on a side. The performer predicts which side the participant landed on. This principle can be used for practically anything, including red/blue, high/low, apple/banana ANY TWO WORDS!

The Twenty Star Mind Explosion – The participant thinks of a shape. They imagine the shape in their mind. They imagine where it is, in their head (to the left, right or middle). The participant imagines behind the shape, an object… the performer divines all three. The shape, the position and the object with high accuracy. Here, you’ll also learn a brand-new way to force shapes and colors.

This isn’t even covering the twenty paged section which detail Outs for Psychological Forces with over fifteen different ways to navigate a force going wrong. You will learn how to create Verbal Forces, how to create Physical Forces and how to even merge the two together!

Finally, everyone who purchases Remastered Volume Two: Psychological Forces will receive a free one hour audio file AND a link which will take you to a Private Facebook Group where monthly, you’ll receive new material, New PDF’s, New Videos, New Principles, New Audio Files and so much more!

“If you want a book that is choc full of ideas, routines, presentational hooks and inspiration that is very well written you should pick up this gem of a title” – William Patrick

“Additional Opposites is a fun easy direct way to nail two things in one swoop. It reminds me of Alman’s Scorpion Tail, but this is essentially propless, which is very nice. Add to that, The Captain Principle. It’s a sneaky, unique little ploy. I love this one” – Mohamed Khaled on Additional Opposites and The Captain Principle

“It’s a very clever idea, especially as a way to get extra hits from a minimum of work. Because of this it really feels like you are reading the mind of the spectator” – Brett Barry on Let’s Get Retro

Hi all,
I hope all of you mystery folk are keeping well and happy. I'd like to chime in and give my take on Emma's new offering to our community namely 'Remastered Vol. 2'. I don't really know what it is but the older I get the less interest I have in actual effects. I am more interested in the structure, premise and subsequent entertainment value that those effects have to offer spectators or participants. I like to read about the author's motivations and nuances that they use in selling their effect to an audience. And I feel that this is, for me, where Emma's book shines. She has a wonderful way of taking rather dry plots and infusing them with the life blood of entertaining and captivating story beats. Take for example her unique take on a number force involving a very busy postman...it was fantastic! Or taking her passion for retro computer gaming and turning it into a fun and authentic experience. I love when author's infuse their own passion outside our art into their work. It really helps make each of us unique and Emma does that with abundance.

Her section on 'The Importance of a Re-cap' and 'But Why?' are very valuable insights into the reframing of a routine that I really liked. She gives good insight on the old adage 'It's not what you do but what they remember.' Emma explains how to help a participant remember what you want them to.

To me, Emma is a true mentalism auture and for that I applaud her. She marches to the beat of her own drum and this is apparent in her work. I loved her routine Frqzxw (plus the contributions on this routine from Benjamin Sleight and Luke Turner were ace also!). The idea is brilliant and as Benjamin and Luke showed the concept can be adapted to your style to powerful effect.

If you want a book that is choc full of ideas, routines, presentational hooks and inspiration that is very well written you should pick up this gem of a title. I am not very experienced in propless work but Emma blends both the worlds of props and propless together in a very engaging way and I know I will be adding some of her wickedly devious concepts and techniques to my own performances. Thank you Emma and bravo on your wonderful contribution to our art. Now, when are you bringing out Vol. 3?Hi all,

PURCHASED ELSEWHERE

Remastered Volume Two was a surprise, I loved Volume One (it's on my desk as I speak). I had some small issues about Volume One as well as some concerns about Volume Two however, they all melted away five minutes into reading.

To start, the formatting is professional, it's consistent and the images provided are either hand-drawn or professionally photographed. The effects taught are stellar, there are propless and prop effects. I learned about how to create forces and the importance of presentation. Emma teaches a lot in this book, I feel like I've learned more from this book than from some of the classics (call me bold).

Some standouts include Pass and Hold, Flip Flap and W.H.P. Pass and Hold is a great physical force, it's entirely propless and I have been using it religiously to force playing cards (I also have used colors. It's quite versatile this technique).

I love the effect taught for Flip Flap, it's simple but quite direct. It garners quite strong reactions. It is a great opener.

W.H.P is a Which Hand Prediction. If you are looking for real meaty Psycholinguistic work then this is for you. It's easy to do, easy to remember, and a great analysis of the Psychology of choices. I have actually used this technique to force animals (this hand is an animal with fur, this hand is hairless).

There is also an Audio File (there is also a second one, as well as the first monthly update, has a 20 minute one). I haven't listened to a lot of the Audio Files, but I will when I can finally get out and drive again. I did try and skip to the propless letter divination and I wasn't disappointed.

The monthly updates are fun, I have enjoyed the first update especially The Greenery (propless color divination) and I'm excited for the story coming later this month (October).

Overall, Remastered Volume Two is a brilliant book dedicated to the art of Psychological Forces, written by a master in the craft.

10/10

A Real Pleasure Report this review
Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on October 15th, 2020
I had a chance to read Remastered Vol. 2 and it was a real pleasure!

The Mirror 2.0: I can see how this could work well in other parts of the world but in Germany, we only know two Tic Tac flavours, which would make it not surprising at all.

FRQZXW: This concept is just amazing and a good example of how psychological forces don't have to be propless. Reading this, my right brain was exploding. Extremely inspiring!

Triangle in a Circle: Great ideas on how to make this classic psychological force more meaningful, impressive and fun.

The Letter Box: One of the best presentations for the 37-force. Every step is justified and makes sense - great work!

The Humanistic Response: The routine is fine but not for me. What I do love about this though is the Lego-force. I think it is one of the greatest psychological forces of all time, an instant classic! Actually, I love it so much, that I published my own routine for it in my latest book DFTP.

Let's Get Retro: To be honest, I never really liked video games. However, this piece works equally well with movies (I would force "The Matrix") and actors. In terms of the method, this is very simple (as I like it) and the psychological force is used to get an extra hit. If it doesn't hit, it can still hit in a different way and if it goes wrong, it doesn't matter too much.

Justifying the One to Nine Force: Good thoughts! No final solutions, in my opinion, but an inspiration to find your own justification. I know, a lot of performers think they don't have to justify everything - and it's true: they don't have to. When it comes to mentalism though, I always aim for perfection and not trying to justify something is, in my mind, pure laziness (which is okay too of course).

A Seasonal Exchange 2.0: Interesting concept. However, I feel that there are more straight forward methods that get you similar results. This is for method junkies!

Additional Opposites: Again, a VERY clever method. Not an effect I would perform though. If you do like the effect (The participant thinks of two opposites and the performer divines them), this is the perfect method - and it is completely propless.

The Captain Principle: Good and useful subtlety for anagram work!

In the Sand: The most reliable 7-force out there. Not super deceptive but, in the right context, it will do its job.

Turning Page: This is a cute little idea but I cannot think of an effect, where I would want to use it. When it comes to mind reading, I want them to handle the book as little as possible, as I want the focus to be on the word and not on the book. Maybe I would use this for a prediction effect, but then again, it is not 100% and I would have to use multiple outs anyway.

A Designed Fate: This playing card prediction is pretty cool if it works. The effect is nothing ground breaking but the used "Vale Priciple" is actually very interesting and super versatile. I cannot say too much about the hit-rate (it is 25% by chance anyway) but it sounds promising to me.

W.H.P: An extremely bold Which Hand prediction, that is quick, reliable and surprising - a perfect opener!

X Marks the Spot: Playing cards, a Sharpie, a Tic Tac flavour, completely unjustified actions ... Well, I don't like this at all. I can see where she was heading but this does not feel complete or finished to me.

Flip Flap Principle: Very interesting force! You could do this with a bunch of people at the same time and force a big number or sentence. This is pure psychology, so it won't work every single time but it has some potential.

The Twenty Star Mind Explosion: This is good! I like how reliable this is (similar to the Lego-force), as you are playing with their imagination and natural human tendencies. Absolutely inspiring!

These were only the main headlines and there are many more subtleties, principles, variations and ideas to explore in this book. Actually, there is so much in here, that you are guaranteed to like at least one or two things. For 40 Pounds, this is a bargain!

Much love,

Nico

I recently purchased Remastered Vol 2. This book is an incredible insight into people's mentalism. Not only did I receive the pdf immediately after payment, I also received an audio file which is so helpful with instructions on the correct timing to say the correct words and Emma even gives instructions on how to do the correct tones in your voice to slightly say one word louder than others. The entire package is a wealth of information to up your game in mentalism. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, there is something in this for you to learn

Additional Opposites Report this review
Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on October 15th, 2020
I was lucky enough to get the chance by Emma to read Additional Opposites .. and would like you to know what I think about it
As described .. you ask the participant to think of 2 opposite words and you divine them .. BOTH!
It’s 100% propless
Easy and direct
Nothing is written down
And very fun to perform

It combines 2 or 3 principles in an interesting way .. one of which utilises a built-in human response .. well in some way 😅!
But how is it 2 OR 3?!!
Yes .. there is a new take on one of the most well known principles that when combined with the other 2 makes the performance easier .. so you can perform it in 2 ways and choose the one that fits you more .. still the 2 ways are really easy to perform
So in short .. it’s direct, easy, fun, performed in 2 ways
One more thing .. although 2 different ways .. it can’t be performed twice for the same group
For me I liked the effect and will try it
And thanks
