Mario The Maker is not only one of the best acts I've ever seen, but he is also one of the most
genuine people I've ever met. His love for people, magic, and making is infectious; and this lecture
puts that love on full display.
About a year ago, I approached Mario to build me a very
specific prop for my show; but of course, Mario convinced me to build it myself. He helped me source
supplies, guided me through the specific electronic questions I had, and within about a month, I had
a functioning prop.
Mario's aim for this lecture is exactly that, to demystify current
maker technology and to show us how we can readily use it to our advantage. His hope is to give the
"average" magician the knowledge and power to design and build the show of their dreams. He's
achieved that in spades.
I can't recommend this lecture enough.

It was great. He could have gone into more detail about how to get started in created animatronics,
but I really enjoyed it.

I had high expectations for this lecture and boy did Mario meet them. I have followed Marios work
for years and have waited in eager anticipation for him to release some of his thoughts on his
approach to magic. I just finished watching the lecture and now I'm combing the internet for servos,
dc motors and all the other stuff he mentions, so I can apply his thinking to my own magic. I love
building my own stuff and the inspiration from this lecture just made me wanting to go to my shop
and create. Good job Mario

David Blaine calls Mario "the best kids magician in the world!" and I fully believe this to be true.
Back in 2019 I had the amazing experience of seeing Mario's full theater show live and in
person, AND opening for him. It was a day I won't soon forget!
It was amazing to see his
show back to back and to talk to him in between sets. The show had 3D printed robots, a drone that
found a card, and an amazing magic performing monkey! I was so inspired that day and ended up buying
an arduino and servo to make a little sign that popped up on my birthday party performance case.
I just finished watching the Penguin lecture and I feel the same source of inspiration to
make something. Now I just need an extra shoe...

This was the absolutely the most eye opening lecture for me. The creativity and thought that goes
into Mario’s work is extremely fascinating. You can tell that he is very passionate about changing
kids lives through magic.
One highlight for me was when Mario shared how he once wanted to
be a magician for adults(the next copperfield) but it just wasn’t working with his style. He began
performing a lot of kids shows and realized his calling. This was an aha moment for me, as I
realized one must be fully expressed with his or her own style, to be successful as an entertainer.
Another highlight was seeing how Mario’s props were made. I find it very fascinating that a
small motor can do so much and bring inanimate objects to life.
If you are hesitant about
this lecture because you just aren’t sure about robots and Arduino, do yourself a favor and press
buy. You will be extremely pleased and you will learn a lot.
If I could give this 10 stars
I would. Thanks for your work, Mario!!

I really enjoyed this lecture. As an engineer who tinkers a lot with both electronics and 3D
printing, I can absolutely appreciate the work and creativity that Mario has put into his shows.
What an amazing magician/entertainer, and so passionate about what he does. It's so important that
people become aware of what is out there and achievable with readily available technology along with
their own creativity. Not super high tech, but what Mario uses is readily available technology and
relatively cheap, but creatively applies it to a highly entertaining act. I highly recommend this
lecture. Great job, Mario!

A phenomenal lecture by the World’s Best Kid’s Magician! WOW!!! I have been a fan of Mario the Maker
Magician for years now. I’ve followed his work and have even taken classes that he’s offered. I had
the pleasure of seeing his live show a month before the pandemic hit and I am so grateful for that
experience. Fast forward to now, and I saw that he was doing a Penguin lecture, without hesitation I
purchased it. Worth every penny. He breaks down his thinking behind the “how” and the “why” of
everything! If you’re reading this and haven’t purchased this lecture...... do yourself a favor and
BUY IT NOW!!!!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you to Penguin for hosting this and Thank you
Mario, to you and your family for doing this......but most of all, thank you for teaching us “how to
fish”.

Wow what a great lecture! Mario shows how you can really think outside the box with your magic.
Simple yet effective ways you can add electronics to you act to take it to the next level. The
routines and effects are outstanding that Mario teaches. However the best part is the inspiration
and motivation he provides so you can start being creative. Mario truly shows that there are no
limits on creativity with your magic! Highly recommend one of the best lectures I have ever seen !
