This review has to be split between the product itself which is a five-star product and the description of the product that rates one star because it is deceiving. This is one of my first Penguin Magic physical purchases and if this one is typical it will be my last. In three places, the video, the product description, and the second photo describing this it states that this is a double changing flap card. At -56 in the video, the announcer states that the card can change twice and this is demonstrated. clicking on the photo next to the product name enlarges to say "Even Able to change TWICE. The product description says "And the most exciting news: you will now be able to flip the same card TWICE, showing a total of three different surfaces to stun and amaze your audience." After all that the card only changes once from a court card to a blue double backer. Yes, at the bottom of the description it says "This product includes a Court Card Face to Blue Bicycle Back Modern Flap Card." but after so much buildup in the above description this is a bait and switch at best.

The product itself is beautifully crafted, if of limited use. It comes with extra elastic and a video on how to repair the card. The instructional videos are clear and well made. If you want to learn how to construct flap cards this product is a bargain for the price. Just understand if you are buying this to use in a double change illusion and not to construct your own flap cards you will be disappointed.
