Pros:
-Hits hard, quickly.
-Just look at that trailer. It's beautiful.
-Slights are well thought out and simple.
-Gimmick packs small, should last.

Limitations:
-First and foremost, you don't actually tear the bill during the performance. The lack of a tearing sound matters in a quiet room.
-Angles. You can perform for a ~120 degree arc. Take a step back.
-You ought to DIY a version with a real bill. The product comes with movie money.
-If you keep your bills in a trifold wallet, you're doing yourself no favors. Bifold preferred.
-The signed version is sus AF. Don't use it.

I was doing the effect effectively (I did a pun) within a couple of days. It's not that difficult, but start with a beer. I'm serious. He goes a mile a nanosecond. My advice is if you perform in bars, make certain the ladies have emptied their bladders. I'm not kidding. I'm REALLY not kidding.

Personally, I hope he doesn't sell many of these. I want it for myself. But, then again, I live in Oklahoma. Mostly, I perform for cows. So, you may buy one if you'd like. I'll hate you, but you can buy one for yourself.

If you love organic magic with props that live in your wallet, this is a MUST HAVE! It is no secret that Nicholas is an amazing creator and wonderful teacher. The download is about an hour long and Nicholas deep dives into the effect reaching multiple handlings, care and setup for the gimmick as well as some bonus ideas!

What do you receive? A link to the tutorial as well as a premade gimmick built out of “fun money.” Honestly, the premade gimmick looks just fine on camera or at a distance from the spectators. It is preferable to build the gimmick yourself however using real currency. The construction of the prop is simple and takes about 10 minutes. You WILL destroy a bill/note in the process so be prepared to invest that money into the prop.

Technically speaking any paper currency or bill can be used. You can even use other things like magazine clippings, receipts, etc if you wanna get creative. Using polymer/plastic notes like GBP may not work. If you do want to use GBP I recommend the older £20 or £50 notes. Again, you will be destroying the bill to build the gimmick so choose wisely!

Once the gimmick is made it can be used over and over again. It sits in your wallet ready to go to perform the effect. The bill used during the performance can be signed and handed out for examination or even to keep at the end. If you want to put the effort in, TECHNICALLY the bill can be borrowed but you will need to switch into the gimmick. So keep that in mind. This idea is addressed on the TUT but in my opinion unnecessary.

Here are some quick points:
-Can this be performed surrounded? No. Audience needs to be within 180 degree radius in front of you. Anyone directly to the sides or behind you can see the gimmick flash.
-Is it easy? Yes. May take a bit of practice but the move is easy to learn
-Is the gimmick high quality? As mentioned above the fun money gimmick is meant for practice but CAN* be used in live performance in certain conditions. I recommend building your own out of real money though
-Easy to learn and follow along? Yes! As I mentioned Nicholas in an amazing teacher and everything is well explained and thought out.

Looks as good in the mirror as it does on video. Seems very practical to me. Instructions for how to remake gimmick when yours looks ratty. Very happy with this purchase.

Truly one heavy hitter after another. This one is a must for anyone wanting to do super visual easy magic. It’s so easy. Best part is if you want to remake it to fit your currency or another bill it’ll take 10 minutes. Awesome effect. Easy to do. Most importantly the trailer is the truth which seems to be a problem these days. You get what you see but it’s actually even more visual in person. Anyone who has it can agree.

As of today this is probably the best bill trick out there.
