Poor design. Report this review

This isn't anywhere near up to the sort of quality I expected it to be. I'm not even sure if it had been specifically designed for this trick, it almost seems like it has been purchased in a wal-mart and then packaged with some instructions and sold to the magic community.

Unfortunately the gimmick, although it works fairly well, just isn't designed properly.

I have a confession to make. I am a pyromaniac. This is my favorite attention getter and is a definite eye grabber. On stage, on the street, in the cafe, this is an effect for everywhere. When people walk up to me 8 out of 10 of the say "throw fire". This effect's price is made up of 10% for it's materials and 90% for it's brilliance. This is one of the only fire effects I perform. There is a chance of burning yourself, so DO NOT PERFORM IN FRONT OF CROWDS UNDER THE INFLUENCE. Otherwise, a great effect that I would buy again any day.

I enjoy Fireball. It is expensive…yes…it does not come with F.P….so I did knock it one star for that, HOWEVER I still think it’s great. I was able to produce fireballs right away and had several tricks down with in 24 hrs. I recommend it, just remember to order FP with it! =)

when I ordered this I was really excited, i was going to be able to throw a fire ball from any object. when i got it I found out that i was really wrong. this is very dangerous to use, it includes no flash paper, you have to practice a lot and its way over priced. the worst part about this is that the gimmick only lasts 500 - 1000 lights. major rip off. you are much better off with a lighter, it is also much easier to use.

Hi everybody,

This is my first review of a Penguin Magic product. I rely heavily on the reviews to choose which products to buy. There were no reviews posted for this product but I wanted to be able to throw fireballs for the Halloween weekend. I bought the product I have to say it is somewhat overpriced. For this much money you would expect something very special. When buying magic tricks the cost reflects a secret and some type of gimmick. In this case there is really is no secret. Instructions are minimal and there is no free video like you get with most of the tricks. When You look at this gimmick it is something that should cost between 10 and 20. I think it is way overpriced for what you are getting. The instructions that come with the gimmick indicate that it will only last between 500 and 1000 fireballs. For that could go pretty quick.
On the plus side I will say it is fun to throw the fireballs, of course you have to continually by the flash paper. The devil is in dangerous with the use of this product and instructional videos would be quite helpful. Overall I'm glad to have the product the I just wish it had been priced more reasonably. If you're dying to have this type of gimmick and go ahead spend, just realize that the item you are buying is way overpriced, I believe that when this gimmick stops working that I will be able to buy some type of substitute for considerably less.

On the plus side I also have to say that it is very quiet and reasonably small. AA

Fireball is an excellent utility. Perfect for misdirection, and just great overall.

Like all fire magic, it's dangerous if you aren't careful. So watch out, and handle it with care. Other than that, its a great product.

Reccomended.
