It is fun to get involved and make your own effects. Magic comes in different levels and there is a
little for everyone on here. The No Gimmick Card Frame is great for kids parties, as is the coin
stand. Its not listed on here but it is on with the No Tug Coin Holder. The Floating Card is a blast
to carry around. 2001 Cards Across, well, I have have a lot of fun with this one! The 7th Inning
Stretch is a fun one too. He says to make it out of a jumbo card, which I did, but it also can be
made with a poker sized card for carry around. All in all, I think this dvd is fun and well worth
having in your collection.

Of the many fine routines offered here, I keep three of them in my kit at all times: Observation
Test, Card Frame, and the dumbfounding Ring in Tea Bag. The gum trick is a smasheroo if you already
have an oversize deck or single card. Sooo simple to make each one, yet each will be a keeper.
Marty's teaching is patient and genial, like a cool uncle.
One of my most USE-ful Pengy
purchases. Perfect for teachers and those who want to draw in others to our passion by
demonstration of technique.

Marty has some great ideas for kids magic shows. The tricks that he goes over I would for sure use
for on a stage setting (not for street magic). Of all the tricks he taught, I will proboally only
use about 2-3. The bonus trick on this DVD is very, very clever. Because I got it in the cool box
for a great price, I am very satisfied.

yeah the DVD was pretty good and i guess it had some pretty cool effects, however it lost two stars
because of the day planner effect, i was expecting it to be a great concept but was ratherly
disapointed! but overall the rest of the effects wer quite fun to perform!

I own quite a bit of DVDs and Magic You Can Make isn't the best one. Don't get me wrong, this DVD
does have some really good effects but a lot of them you probably won't use. This is my opinion
anyways. Your style of magic may be more tailored to this type. The trick where you have a bunch of
envelops and the spectators each take one but yet yours is the only one with money is probably my
favorite. If you get big envelopes then this makes for a great stage effect.

I've already made two of the tricks on this DVD, plan on making more. 7th Inning Stretch you can
build in no time with regular playing cards for walk-around, or if you have some jumbos, fantastic
for stage. I got this in the Open Box and wowsers, what a deal. Highly recommended.
Pros: I like when DVDs get to the point and this one does that across all of the tricks. I also like
some of the clever twists to classics like Bank Night (not called that though) and cards across.
Cons: The instruction on the floating card trick is stunningly obtuse and and incomplete. I
don't know how anyone not familiar with the method can follow it and create the gimmick. If ever an
instruction was in need of field testing before final release, this one is it. Terrible. And, as
this is the trick I was most interested in using, I find that to be most frustrating.
Useful. I have already made at least 2 of the items described.
