I have had liquid metal for quite some time now, and I finally purchased psychokinetic silverware.
This video is top notch! Where Strebler teaches you his routine, Banachek really takes the time to
teach you the subtleties & misdirection that you'll need to truly make cutlery bending work for you
in the real world. Love this DVD!

Superb. Like all good effects, this will take some work, particularly in the presentation. The bends
that Banacheck teaches are wonderful, but it is the subtleties of psychology, showmanship, and
misdirection that put this in a class by itself.

I love this video, the same day I was doing one or two of the bends and within a week I was doing
them all fairly convincingly. Please understand that I am NOT a magician, not even a novice or a
hobbyist but I have *stunned* people with the stuff I learned.
If you are a novice like me, you
may be stuck doing Banachek's routine until you work out the one or two spots that he missed (that's
not a bad thing I assure you), email me if you need to and I will explain that last statement ONLY
if you have the video. There are a couple of psychological subtleties that I spotted that could have
been even more killer, but either Banachek didn't or, more likely, he's so damn good he doesn't need
them.
Here's a hint, practice this as much as you can, I got blisters from practicing so
much but.... McDonalds here I come.

Fork bending is definitely one of the more impressive tricks you can do, because, you know, they're
forks. They're strong. Even if normal people try to bend forks at home, they usually take their
high-quality, thick silverware at home, and fial miserably.
There are a couple of different
bends in this DVD. 3 of them, you can do with no prior preparation at all. The other two are also
really impressive, but you may need to switch the forks.
Generally, I would say the easiest
bend is the Pivot bend (where you rub it with your entire hand), and I usually follow it up with the
bend where the spectator gently rubs the (already bent) fork in your hand, bending it even further.
I heard the tine bend should be easy, but everything here in Denmark is so high quality (curse
you, Denmark!) coming across forks that are both overall thin and easy to bend AND does not have
wide tines, is quite hard. So no sucess with the tine bend yet.
This does not make bending forks
less impressive, though.
At the beginning, you need thin forks. Not the high quality one's
in your parent's drawer, but cheap and thin ones. Personally, I got forks from the cafeteria at my
dad's work, which they were going to throw out either way.
If you're using thin forks, it is
very important that when you get the spectator to check it, do NOT say "try and bend it". I once
said this to a six year old, he bend it (slightly) with his hands. Just say "check and see that it
is a real fork. Not rubber or anything" works best, and I have never failed with this. Just be sure
not to over-prove, it seems weak and suspicious.
I hear people complain about Gerry in the
DVD, I even heard one go as far as to say he learned NOTHING because of Gerry, but really, I don't
see it.
I mean, yes, sometimes he interrupts to say something that doesn't even matter, but
personally, I didn't find it distracting at all. It wasn't very often, and they usually carried on
rather quickly.
All in all, this is a great DVD for anyone interested in fork bending.

This is easily one of the greatest instructional DVDs I have ever seen.
Flat out, this
will teach you all you need to know to look like you can bend metal with your mind. People keep
saying it requires a lot of practice, and to get it PERFECT you do, but you can start immediately
and the instructions are really clear and really helpful. Even after you know how it works Banachek
goes into subtleties that truly convince the audience you have powers.
When used properly,
this effect is a powerhouse in terms of reactions and believability. People will be shocked, and
they will remember it for a long time.
This, in many ways, is a perfect illusion. It is
TRULY impromptu, no gimmicks, easy to learn, and is a massively powerful effect. I really can't say
how much I love this effect.

First of all, people now believe that I have abilities.
Teaching:
It is taught very
well, nothing annoying etc(with music or camera angles). It is taught almost like your sitting down
with Banachek and Gerry and learning everything two on one. Banachek also goes into detail about how
he had a group of scientists believing in him for four years...
Practice:
The bends and
patter take a lot of practice, not as much practice as the zombie ball or muscle reading though.
I do this effect for not only parler, but on stage and let me tell you, do you want to blow
people away? Give them a souvineer they'll never forget? Do you want to take your mentalism to the
next level?....

This is a good video to bend silverware. You could bend it with the power of your mind... well
that's how it will look to the person. I think you should buy it.

Well, I liked some of the things in the video, but most of the bends don't come off very strong to
the people I have performed for. If you are going to get a metal bending routine you may want to
check out Liquid Metal.
The Ideas in this DVD are helpful, but still seem to lack the
ability to be impossible, and that is what you want as a magician - to perform the impossible.

I really like this DVD!!! It's very simple and easy to do...
