I purchased Switch One from another retailer (sorry), but I am so incensed with the massive gulf
between what I was expecting and what I actually got that I feel frankly deceived and need to share
my experiences with you so you know what you are getting for your $75. It's going to be a bit
tricky to do without giving too much away, but here goes:
The promo videos would have you
believe you are purchasing a device that will help you accomplish a visual transposition in front of
the spectator. There's much made in the promos that you're getting an unfiltered performance, and
everything is laser focused on the change itself.
That's not what you're getting. The
technique you see in the video is a basic technique available in several magic books. Wanna make it
a dollar bill instead of a card? That's fine... it's immaterial, really, because you're not using
any gimmick in the hands. Instead, what you're paying for is just a storage device that has nothing
to do with the switch itself.
Heck, I'm just going to say it, because YOU NEED TO KNOW what
you are paying for. It's a wallet. It's just a damn wallet. It does none of the work for you. It
is just a filing cabinet for your pocket.
You are paying $75 for a wallet. Did you ever
see a wallet in the unbroken performance? Ever see a gesture to a pocket? I mean, that's how it's
taught.
This is just deceptive advertising all around. The switch shouldn't be happening
between what is advertised and what is actually on offer. This is not how you should be fooling
magicians. This is shameful. Do not buy.

An extremely misleading trailer (billed as uncut) and build up to an apparent invisible gimmick that
turned out to be probably the worst fraud ever placed on the magic community. The trailer
intentional leaves out the complete, out in the open giveaway of how this apparent impossible switch
occurs to mislead you into thinking you're getting an actual creative, long awaited for invisible
switch gimmick. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nothing special about this effect but an
awkward handling to make the switch occur that you'll regret paying $75 for.

This is billed as Christian’s closest guarded secret. The problem with that statement, it’s not
his secret. Please be aware that this is being described in a way which is beyond the normal
wordsmithing that normally happens when describing a new effect. This is not his invention nor is
this a new or revolutionary method.

The problem is not in the product, the problem is in the false advertisement. It says one thing and
is the complete opposite of the product. You should know up front that you are purchasing an
indexing device with a great sleight of hand move. Nothing wrong with that. But I do not need
another index device. And if I would have that upfront, I would not have made a purchase. If you
don't have one, this is a good one to own. Just tired of the misleading floating around.
The one star is for the false advertisement. I have contacted the maker and still waiting for a
response.

Imagine you are a musician and you see an ad about this new instrument that makes amazing unique
music. It's so revolutionary, that Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, Jay Z and plenty of other big names
are touting this as the next big thing.
You buy into the hype, purchase this new mystery
instrument and inside the package you find...a guitar. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful guitar.
You may have even bought it if they had told you what it was up front. But the instructions call
this guitar a "music box" over and over and give a tutorial on how to play a few chords.
That is
what it feels like to buy Switch One.

I bought this already at Blackpool 2020.
You get two things. A sleight and a physical product.
The move is fantastic and in my opinion the most useful sleight that has been released within the
last 20 years. It is pretty much invisible and can 100% be used in the real world and 100% examined.
The card is not gimmicked in any way.
The trailer is NOT misleading. You can do what you see in
the video. Whoever says that's not true has not put in the time to actually study it.

Last trick I buy on vanishing
There is a reason why you can’t do reviews there

First of all, I understand the criticism that this product could probably have been offered as a
download. The marketing was of course extremely inflated, but here everyone has to look in the
mirror for themselves and had the choice to wait for reviews. I liked the look of the switch so much
that I accessed it directly.
Selling Switch One with an I *** x is not fundamentally wrong
because it is thematically more than appropriate.
Had there been both options (with and without
I *** x) then I would have opted for the I *** x again. I've only been able to see the tutorial so
far and wait for the physical product to arrive, but it looked really good at first glance. If the
size, feel and functionality are right, nothing stands in the way of having fun. I own a few i***x
systems and this offers a new placement nuance as well.
Ultimately, it's one of the best tools a
mentalist could ask for!
The Switch looks extremely good and I knew it could be Sleight of
Hand.
I couldn't rule out the use of an additional gimmick, but I am not disappointed to know
that you don't need anything additional (except practice).
The 1 star reviews here are not
very fair. Nobody stated it is self working.
The I *** x could have been mentioned more
directly, but that wouldn't have made the cabbage fat.
The tutorial is very well filmed and the
routine is clever and equally demanding.
If you like what you see in the trailer, you can take
it easy.
Another point to consider is the comprehensive FB group with many active users. If you
have problems with the handling iam sure the creator will help out as well.
If you are only
looking for a clever switch and don’t want to spend 75$ you should check out the Lager Switch (!),
OSYN or Switchcraft.
I therefore give Switch One the 5 stars it deserves.

Okay i will say this with as respect as possible. But all these low reviews are really what is
MISLEADING about this.
The only words to describe this is LAZY & DUMB.
Dumb
because in the trailer the hand can been seen clearly retrieving something from somewhere but not
what you see in the explanation but guess what who could have thought that we can change the pocket
as per our requirement .That would mean using some brain which clearly people have lost.
Lazy because people want magic without putting in effort.
And i doubt those people have even
checked the Facebook group because Christian & Mark have already mentioned 2 different ways to do
the same thing .

As others already mention, it is a wallet and You need jacket with inner pocket. You can imagine how
much deception You need not to be caught. To much money for that. There is nothing new in it.
