Hi! This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
DON'T DO IT! LOL!
I
don't like this effect too much, but let me explain to you why. First of all, it's a much too
gimmicky effect. What I mean is that the trick, making a card rise out of a deck with only the use
of your mind, your magic powers, whatever, is a STRONG effect on your audiences. If this were truly
possible, it would freak people out. What's bad about STRONG illusions like this is that the gimmick
is the first thing people look out for. The very first thing anyone who sees this effect is going to
think is, "Well it must be in the cards." And as soon as that deck of cards isn't able to be
inspected, GAME OVER. Without the use of a good deck switch, this trick is completely
NON-EXAMINABLE. For a strong illusion such as this, that is disastrous.
The other reason
why I don't like it is that with use of Kundalini Rising or similar effects sold, the same effect is
accomplished in a much better way. The deck can be borrowed, for example, and you can end completely
clean and the deck completely examinable. And with Kundalini Rising, the effect is pretty simple to
do. If you get all these benefits from that, why would you ever invest a gimmicky, not-clean Rising
Card deck?
I personally recommend against this. You will be a much better, and more popular
magician using Kundalini Rising or the other variations of Rising Card.

I got my first rising card trick when I was about 11 or 12 years old and over the years it wore out.
I never replaced it until now.... I have to say that this is the exact same method that I am
used to and I absolutely LOVE this effect.
This is a new improved version and I hightly
recommend even if you are just a hobbyist.
It is truely one of the easiet card tricks on the
market and it always gets a great reaction.

I was publicly using this trick within one day of receiving it.I used it with 2 weeks as a work
gathering of around 50 folks and used 2 of our company execs to choose the cards.
Everyone was
totally astounded and my reputation as a truly legit magician was instantly increased.

If you are looking for a good trick get this one. I'm 11 and I performed it perfectly the first
time. It is so easy. I've done it over 20 times and it hasn't failed yet. Nobody has figured out the
secret... yet, and knock on wood they won't :). I recommend it to anyone who likes card magic.
Awesome trick.

The quality of this particular item is fairly low. I have had other rising decks over the years, and
this one is the lowest in quality that I have had. More times than not with this deck the card rises
out of the deck less than half an inch, if at all. Also the adhesive pad is so slack, that it flips
over befor it comes into contact with the chosen card therefor not adhearig to the card.

It simply was not moving the card up when I flipped the deck up-side down. To get it to work, I had
to shake it until it made noises and gave the gimmick away. If you want a strong effect and are
willing to use a trick deck, go for the invisible deck.

This is just too gimmicky for me. The gimmick is big, and mine doesn't really seem to work all that
well. I've had this for several years, and never peformed it. It's gotten some good reviews by
others, but it's just not for me.

after ordering several Amy Rising decks in the past and now getting this one, the gimmic hangs up
real badly. Upon expection of it the track in the gimmic is to wide causing the hang and the sliding
cards in the gimmic causes it to hang as well. Like the idea of the interchangeable tape set up
though.
