A Good trick, clever gimmick. Requires some coin skill, but, not much.

First off I want to say this is a great concept, well made gimmick and solid instructional video.
The only reason this product does not get 5 stars is due to what I personally, see as a flaw in
production. Many may not be bothered by it at all and I myself will admit that the mark is not
severe enough to render the product useless. However, the second phase of the routine requires a
move, at the moment of the move within the the effect it is merely supposed to appear as if you are
adding another piece to the coin. At this crucial moment my gimmick forces the orientation of the
quarter to change making it impossible to appear as if the only thing I have done is add another
piece. Its a very small thing and although very few if any would be able to verbalize what they saw
the eyes see something. In any event great trick, if there are future runs perhaps this could be
noted as it seems like it would be an easy fix in production.

He's not got the easiest of accents to understand it takes quit a bit of concentration to get what
he's saying but it's a good trick in the long run if you can find a 10 pence coin somewhere. It cost
me a small fortune on ebay to buy one.

I loved the effect in the trailer, but when I got the gimmick, I thought it was awkward, maybe made
wrong, and it wasn't going to fool anyone. It was the live performances and the teaching (Rhoddy is
a great teacher) that made me stick with it. When I finally learned the correct position for my
right hand during the final restoration (a little awkward, but looks fine to the eye), it really
clicked for me. People love this one. Takes some practice, but all good things do. Get it.

Bought this from Roddy at Blackpool and i loved it. Do wish you had different coin options but
other than that it is genious.

coinception by Roddy mcghie is a good coin routine that is not difficult to perform, but it is easy
to perform bad.the moves are not complicated, but you have to follow the choreography of the moves to
look magical.the gimmick is well made and strong
all metal, the explanations of the moves and the
routine are clear.Mr McGhie also give you a bonus routine like a coin bite that is great. my only
conplain is that more close up shots and over the shoulder shots will enhance the explanations, and
they were missing. strongly recommended

I love this trick and how smooth it looks. I worried about flashing part of the gimmick at first
when practicing but when I tried it with other people my confidence built up and I have no worries.
Only down side is I'm from Canada and need to keep extra American quarters around.

I am not one to write a negative review but I just don't think I will ever use this gimmick. I found
the handling to be awkward and difficult. I'm sure it might be a good utility for someone willing to
put in the work but that's not me. To me gimmicks are supposed to make magic easier to preform. I
did not find this easy to do and so it will go into the junk drawer and never come out. Even though
the bite out quarter fall apart after a while its still a much more fun and easy to use gimmick than
this and one you will actually use. I would not recommend this one unless you just really like the
premise and want to put some real work into getting the moves down.

I really love how they add value to the download by adding 2 more bonus handling.
This will
be a great lead in to any other coin trick because of the premise. Especially a trick like coin
fusion. A perfect pair. I love Roddy’s creations
