A useless gimmick. It looks like less than a prototype, a random idea that came from magicians who
drank too much, an impossible-to-use object with zero reliability for any professional magician.
Good for looking myself in the mirror or as a curiosity for friends. I am a loyal penguin customer,
this is certainly the most superfluous object I have ever bought.

Doesn't work, not worth it, really not like in the trailer

Easy to use and I could achieve reactions that I really didn't expect. I highly recommend it.

wow, this looks just like the trailer. Very good effect. And you receive all the elements to perform
it ( even the necklace :p ) so happy to play with it.

I’m not gonna lie, the effect, it looks great.
I picked up flame take from my local
Vancouver magic shop. The trailer was so well done and the effects seemed too good to pass up. I had
read mixed reviews. I have Firekit so I had a general idea of what to expect and I was almost
accurate with my prediction of what would be required to pull this effect off.
Pros:
- looks great on camera and in person. I’ve performed this for several different people and
everyone has been amazed. But it took planning and was very situational.
- gimmick Should
last quiet a few performances, Like….a lot. One day I suppose you will need to buy more gimmick or
even make your own.
- video is good quality, though at some points the instructor is hard
to understand with his accent. Still he’s a very good magician and clearly knows what he is doing.
He goes through everything step by step.
- it really does work well for productions and
since you show your hands clean immediately, I’ve never had any attention where it’s not supposed to
be. The clean up is easier than first appears when performing live.
What’s not easy to
deal with is…..
Cons:
- this effect requires the gimmick to be set up every…20
minutes, regardless of if you use it or not. The set up requires complete privacy. I wouldn’t
suggest this for a street magician or a walk around magician. It’s not that this particular set up
takes a very long time, it’s just it does require some attention for safety reasons. And as
mentioned this gimmick requires constant reloading/set up.
- This is a not some advanced,
state of the art gimmick, but it does the job. You can pull off every effect in the trailer, but
when you first open the packaging it’s a bit underwhelming.

I have been playing with Flame Take for several days and I must say that it has a lot of potential.
This is really powerful. All the ideas shown have inspired me and I have already developed ideas of
my own. This is the difference between acquiring an effect and a tool. Flame Take is smart and
allows me to be creative.

I love fire tricks and this one is really really good!! Love that you can hand out the coin ( or any
small object) immediately to the audience. Love the social media part. Really clever ideas!
