This is really the worst DVD to this subject I've ever seen! Luckily I got it as a promo item, but
every cent spent for it would be too much!
The tricks are *very* basic, most of them can be
figured out easily. And most of them also need some kind of setup that can not be done in front of
the audience.
What you get: Absolute beginners card tricks performed by a guy on his bad
hair day, who thinks he is funny when making faces and who enjoys a lot the "jokes" (at least he
seems to think they are jokes) he makes himself.
My advice: Hands off this DVD! For the
same money you can get really great stuff from e.g. Jay Sankey, Richard Sanders, Oz Pearlman, ...
These performers also show you how to build up an effect, the psychology behind it and how to make a
great effect out of an effect.
Don't buy!

I agree it is too expensive but I got it as a bonus, so not too bad. The tricks on here are really
easy but for a beginner there are some reputation makers on it, so if you are new to card magic you
might want to pick it up. If you are an intermeadiate or expert in the card field, this one is not
the right one to get!

The good thing was that this was free with the schools out bonus, however, this DVD really stinks!!!
I know why they are so "top secret", and here's why, if they listed the effects on the back
of the DVD, everyone could figure it out, and in that way, they wouldn't earn anything from this
DVD.
When I saw the performances on this DVD I was able to figure it out immediately,
without watching any explanations, that's why it is so "secret".
The most UN-DELIGHTFUL DVD
ever. :-)

Simon Lovell has put some really good DVDs out there but I would have to say that it isn't his best
one. The stuff is mainly for beginners which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the result is that a
lot of it isn't really that stunning. Check out his Gambling Moves DVD and you'll probably use a lot
more of that stuff then you will from this. I still like the DVD because of it is good.

First of all, you do NOT get special cards included. The tricks on the dvd use no special cards
anyway. This is THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT AS "MILLION DOLLAR CARD MAGIC" which is a GREEN DVD, this is
a RED ONE. If you want to see the "top secret" tricks, look up Million Dollar Card Magic with Simon
Lovell. There are several neat tricks on this dvd, most of them are for beginners and most of the
require set-up. Half of this dvd is gambling tricks oriented, so there is alot of dealing out a
royal flush or the aces. If you do magic standing up, you will get NOTHING from this dvd. If you are
a start-up table magician, there will be a few card tricks on this dvd that will interest you.
If I already own Born to Perform, should I still get this? Yes, only if you work with a table.
How many of these tricks do you think I will actually use? Depends on how advanced you are.
I would estimate two or three tricks. Beginners might use 5 or 6. Advanced magicians will not use
much.
Are any tricks mindblowing? No, but it does teach multiple card tranformations.
