I’m just an absolute beginner who enjoys mentalist type tricks but the techniques needed to master this took no more than 5-10 minutes. Anyone used to handling cards and misdirection will be using this straight out of the packet as the minor slight of hand work is that simple. Looking forward to other mentalist type gimmicks from Penguin . ( I have a couple and can’t praise Penguin highly enough for their customer care and speed of dispatch to the U.K., highly recommended!)

I was a bit dissapointed with this for phase 1 and phase 2, but then phase 3 changed everything for me.

I think your magician buddies will figure out phase 1 and 2, but 3 is a fooler and im delighted with the method, its REALLY cool and not something i've seen used before and wish methods like this were more common!

even though the first 2 stages arent magician foolers, they should fool laymen and all together with all 3 phases its a really fun and powerful routine!

I think the ESP Testing Set is a very good trick but because the print is so small I need an excuse to put on my glasses. I do not believe making the numbers a little larger will interfere with the trick.
If I had perfect eyesight I would feel more confident to show it.

Not thrilled with this product. The first 2 phases are old. The last phase is actually good but I had seen it before in a lecture by another magician using a full deck.
As for the cards, I found them to be cheap looking. Perhaps on a playing card type finish would make more durable.

My wife and I do a mentalism act and this makes for a fun icebreaker. Since my wife is the "psychic" I can do all of Spooky's moves and without saying anything use a Piddington style hand position and she then "sees" the selected symbol! pretty cool :-)

The cards are designed well, I like that they have the extra hexagon symbol, and being able to "read" them from both the front and the back makes for a really clever set of effects that seems more and more impossible as you go!

Purchased these direct from Preston 'Spooky' Nyman (a very lovely chap indeed).

Great set of 6 ESP cards (with added hexagon).

Preston has taken a very clever idea, from an extremely clever creator, and used it in a very practical way. 10/10

These will be your go-to ESP cards and deserve a place in your wallet. I got a second set so now I can do all the standard 10 card ESP routines (now with 12!). Solid BUY NOW.
