Ben has mastered his material in a way that is rarely seen or taught today. Every beat is worked out
and yet it seems completely spontaneous. No "ums," "ahs," or nervous laughter - just special
moments, connections, and magic. It’s a master class in how to perform a close-up show for a live
audience. I never leave reviews but this one is a must see! I can’t say enough good things about it.

(From the perspective of new Magician)
Ben is a whimsical and extremely skilled Magician that
is undeniably passionate about doing good for other Magicians and the world of Magic. When Ben
Barnes is performing, Magic is real.
Admittedly as a baby Magician, a couple things were
a little too fast or over my head to grasp/put into practice right now, but that’s okay. Whether you
are a brand new or seasoned Magician this lecture contains both nuggets of wisdom about performing
and powerful effects that you can and should use immediately no matter your level of experience is.
This lecture is truly a priceless collection – get it and watch it right now!
P.S. There is
something in here that I have seen Ben do quite a few times, each time I was absolutely perplexed
and amazed. I was REALLY hoping it would be in here – and it is. When you see it, you’ll know! I
would have paid more for that ONE trick alone. Ben truly takes Magic from the greats and IMPROVES
upon the effects and techniques.

This lecture was great! Very informational and fun! The performance was clean and quite frankly mind
blowing. Highly recommend for magicians looking for new routines. the force is amazing and the ACR
is a routine I can use for the rest of my life. Thank you Ben Barnes for sharing your knowledge

Hadn’t heard of him in Ireland !
Absolutely fascinating and wonderful
Have been in Magic a
long time and he is the nicest gentleman I have ever seen in a long time!
His skill is brilliant
and misdirection is strong!
Highest recommendation to watch this man at work
Ben seems to have taken principles and ides that were probably created a century ago and then
everyone stopped thinking and went onto something new. Ben finds something that almost worked and
was sometimes a simple novelty. Ben continues to think and evolve those pieces and principles where
everyone else stopped thinking. One of the principles that he turns into a masterpiece was a little
gimmick that I got in my first magic set in 1948. Ben moved it around and turned it upside down. He
combined it with another simple principle and WOW! A masterpiece.
The tricks are excellent
as is his performance. Most valuable is one sentence that he lightly shared. “The secrets of magic
have secrets.” I think it’s the foundation of what he creates and what he shares in the video and
his magic.

So many great nuggets of information throughout!
The first routine alone is worth the price
Benjamin's style of magic is very elegant in my opinion, and his character while performing uses
that to his advantage. This is a great lecture filled with plots you already know. But Benjamin's
take is so fresh and nice, that I actually want to go back and revisit my ACR. He is nice, and with
the helping hand of Erik's questions and comments, this is a very good lecture to learn from.
Benjamin Barnes is an absolute pro when it comes to handling a deck of cards, as well as giving his
audience a good time. Ben has a calm and immensely entertaining approach to performing and teaching
his magic. In this lecture, Ben shares a lot of handlings and presentations to classic card effects.
These card tricks are practical and direct. Having seen Ben perform in person, I know how these
effects play in the real world and how Ben's attention to detail and timing allows him to maximize
audience reactions. Ben is an amazing person and magician who is dedicated to continuing to learn
and hone his craft.
Why is this an outstanding lecture? A great and yet humble lecturer and performer, a good dynamic
between him and Eric Tait, some really interesting effects and the sense that he really cares: about
Magic, about his audience, about owning these “effects from the books”. Generously Benjamin shares
what he learned the hard way in a manner that you just want to try (even if you are not a card guy)
- and maybe pick up one of those books to read it with a new perspective.
You don’t just learn
effects (the “impossible force” alone to me is worth the money of the lecture) you learn an
approach, a way of thinking about creating experiences for the audience which is sincere and
amazing. Highly recommend.
