Although I love this effect, I only gave it 3 stars for the following reasons: 1) The video is too
short, requiring multiple viewings to understand- he goes too fast. 2) One of the decks I received
is almost impossible to do the secret move with (I am trying to break in my cards to do it, there
has to be a way, I hope I do not ruin anything) 3) The re-set is time consuming.
In light of
all that, the effect is a very powerful one. It requires no slight of hand so is great for all
levels. The packaging is excellent- and provides a great way to carry and store the trick in.Would I
buy it knowing this- well, maybe.

This trick is a pure miracle. You receive two decks of cards in a nice box. Penguin Magic has been
doing a great job with packaging lately. David Regal goes over great detail with everything! There
are no sleights involved which makes this very easy to do. This trick gets great reactions if you
take your time and act a little bit. Laymen will never figure this out. I had a spectator say that
it's a trick deck, yet no idea how I did it. He was that impressed. I recommend you get this trick
while supplies last. You won't regret it. My advice is to get a card mat, makes the trick easier and
adds to the presentation too.

This is one of my favourite tricks from David's Up Close and Personal book. Penguin have done a
great job on the decks you receive and the packaging. The tutorial is brief but covers everything
you need. There's a lot of very clever thinking built into this trick that allows you to concentrate
on your presentation whilst blowing your audience away. It's a shame different performance footage
wasn't used - the muted reactions and slightly hostile participants in the trailer downplay the
power of this hard-hitting piece. Craig Petty has a performance on his channel that gives a better
reflection of what to expect (ie people going freakin' nuts!)

Trick is great for laymen, packaging great, not so great I had to treat the red deck myself as it
did not work out of the box.

This is a great trick. It’s easy to do and the ending is strong. I did it for two groups and both
were very enthusiastic about it. There’s no rough moves and you can count it to get a great
reaction. This is one of the best tricks I have bought from Penguin.

I love this trick! You can draw it out longer by showing there are 52 cards to start out with (by
counting them out) and then after their selection, there are only 51 cards left. I've seen a lot of
jaws drop on that alone, before you reveal their card from the other deck! Very easy to do as well!

Love it!! After the inviable deck, it's the best and easiest Gaff Deck trick I've ever bought.

Creative beyond your wildest presentation dreams. However, Regal makes a classic rookie mistake in
every card trick he does. He spreads the cards in a crescent facing himself so he sees all pips in
the upper left corners and the spectators see them upside down in the lower right corners. He works
for himself and not for his audience. Learn to spread your cards with the top of the crescent
closest to you so the audience can see the pips in the upper left corner. Who is this trick for
anyway ...

David Regal is the Einstein of "close up gimmics"
I'm willing to bet dollars to
doughnuts that he has been working on this trick,
on and off since he got a magic set for his
Bar Mitzvah!
This is as he says the PERFECT trick to carry with you if you are invited to a
party and will perform just ONE trick!
David is a genius, Penguin is his sand box and the
castles that he builds for us are a legendary as Sir Gallahad! ~ Get his one you will not regret it!

As a beginner, like myself, this is a very easy trick to perform for amazing results.
The gimmick
cards I received work to perfection and the reset takes 10 seconds.
