Carl shares a great functional routine. The techniques are traditional but play so well. Carl always
shares great insight into the effect and keeps things functional as well as fun. I love how he
addresses pocket management.
This is a REALLY great DVD, covering a FANTASTIC, logical and PRACTICAL cups and balls routine. All
of the moves are taught in addition to what MAKES them work. Carl is a great magician and a
fantastic teacher, and this routine is SOLID gold for anyone wanting to add an easy, practical C&B
routine to their walkaround (or parlour) set!
This DVD isn't solely about this routine
though; it really goes into cups and balls in general, practicality, pocket management, psychology
and really how to make this routine hit hard. This is a powerful DVD download and something I highly
recommend.
This is a very good addition to the cups and balls workers collection. I perform the Chop cup on a
regular basis and this gives a second option that I reallyenjoy. There is a lot of information on
the techniques required and the routine leads you into a sponge ball routine that is a lot of fun.
If you are serious about the Cups and balls and want to learn and view an excellent two cup routine
you will enjoy this one a lot. Add to cart.
this is a great cups and balls routine! i got this from my store when i ordered the penguin cups. it
provides a unique routine that not man magicians will perform. it is visual, creative, and well
performed with an ending that will suprise even the most skeptical viewers
This is how i do the cups and balls. Two cups and two(?) balls. I got inspiered by this dvd that
teaches a great routine, but I made my own, and it is the one routine that I will do in every show.
It's a lot moor going on than if you have three cups!
I've been performing walk around for years now both at private events and restaurants. I've been
really wanting to do cups and balls, even though I never had a good routine down that I enjoyed. I
never did perform the C&B. I resorted to Chop Cup routines, and like stated in the video, sometimes
its just not 'lively' enough. I stopped performing it.
I have been wanting this DVD for
about 3 or 4 years now. It use to be 20$ for the hard copy and I think that is more suitable,
but even still a bit high priced for what you get.
Don't get me wrong, the DVD itself is
technically valuable and yes, the routine is good. Probably very good for a walk around setting;
utilizing two cups and the sponge balls. However, for the price, I was expecting so much more than
what I got.
You get one very short routine. And one sub-par sponge routine. Like I said,
sure it works in the real world, but for the price, I was expecting more. His routine is so
simplistic that this could of practically been an instant download for 10$.
You don't
learn anything new, nothing revolutionary. It's just very short and to the point. Which is good, but
a bit expensive.
All in all, I will probably be using the routine a bit, but not the "Ain't
no mo" sponge routine. It's too... simple. In a bad way! I like to get a bit more out of my sponge
routine. What he teaches is so small and limited, in my opinion.
I was expecting something
much more, and after waiting 3 years to purchase this, I am lacking any enthusiasm towards the
purchase.
