"This multi-phase impossibility is very clever. No strings and no magnets. It will keep your audience dumbfounded. This would be a great addition to any levitation, animation, or impossible balance routine that you may already do." - John George

Destroy the laws of physics by balancing a card box on just the edge at an impossible angle. No threads, magnets, or weights required. This is a balancing act that can be performed completely surrounded. This is Axis by Rizki Nanda.

Here’s what happens:

You tell your audience that you’ve been using a breathing technique that allows you to achieve perfect stillness, and you can prove it. You begin by removing a deck of cards from the box and balancing the loose deck on just two fingers. You then take it a step further by resting one corner of the box on the deck. The box is clearly over its center of balance and should fall, but it appears to ignore the laws of gravity. Then, you tilt the box over so that it is balanced at an impossible angle on just the smallest edge of the box. You can then pluck the box off of the deck and hand it out for immediate examination.

Axis comes with everything you need to go right out of the box. The gimmick is easy to use and hides in plain sight. There aren’t magnets, threads, or weights used to accomplish this incredibly visual effect. Taught in detail by Dalton Wayne, you’ll be performing this effect minutes after opening the box. As a bonus, you also learn a super visual deck balance from Jean Hughard. Magicians are always looking for crazy effects with a deck that aren’t just the audience selecting another card, and Axis is the perfect addition to your toolbox of dynamic card magic. Give your audience some precarious eye candy when you balance your box with Axis by Rizki Nanda.

It’s a little knacky, but you get it with a little practice. It’s not something I’m doing all the time, but I did it when I got it. It’s pretty good. Free, too. Extra points for that.

Wow, I really didn't like that. It was only a penny, so ay least I didn't spend too much money on it. The first phase that doesn't even use the gimmick is the only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1, and even this is angly. The other phases using the gimmick are rubbish. Maybe for camera, but still, the angles on the other phases are extremely limited. I gave this 2 stars only for the impromptu deck balance, and I'm not even sure if I'll use that.

This is an interesting effect for any one the spot close up effect, it is super fun and easy to understand what happened and you do end clean at the end ! This is an super powerful place that anyone can use to break down an card act just in the middle of an card set of 12 card tricks! With a little thought an magician could work out an interesting way of using the same idea for others objects around him or she!this might very small fast effect but it is very big in the mind of any one who see this balance card case effect!I just love it so much !

Nice effect. Quick and easy. Nice to see the updated gimmick. I’m not opposed to diy but this is really simple. My early thoughts were… leading right to the updated gimmick.you are paying for a really nice idea/ method. Good teaching video. I’m glad someone thought of it:)

I like to use this while people sign cards but I do not think that it is strong or long enough to use as a stand alone trick. if this is appealing to you you should buy it because you get exactly what the trailer says.
