This is a good trick, but with so many glowing reviews. I bought two pair. I would like to mention a
few problems to balance out the reviews.
1) I can't walk around with it on or it will come
off or come undone. I was really excited about this, but it has come apart in the last two
walk-around shows I have done, exposing the gimmick. The only work-around I can come up with is to
carry the bow in my pocket and put it on during the show. This can be part of the act.
2)
The laces with which you make the bow are too long and look a little comical. They need to be an
inch or so lollshorter. Cutting them to an acceptable length means losing the "end caps".
3) These work best on an athletic shoe. I bought a pair of dressier shoes at DSW that work fine,
but it is limiting in formal situations. Also they only work with a certain (common) lace system.

Performed this at a business party yesterday with only 2 days of practice about 10hrs total, along
with a handful of card and coin tricks, I have mastered over the years, that always get great
reactions, BUT... LACED UP WAS THE *HIT* OF THE NIGHT. People loved it. They literally ran to get
there Friends telling them they had to see it. The reactions were worth every penny spent. Cant wait
to see what Mr. Mount comes out with next.

Use Laced Up on one shoe and Self-tying shoelaces on the other and you will blow your spectators
away! This is so good!

Bought this trick immediately upon release on the trailer. It is super practical, and fairly easy.
Taking the bow off is a bit knacky and will require some practice. I had a few questions and Donovan
personally video chatted with me and helped solve the issues. A1 guy right there. Highly recommend.
If you are a street/walkaround or bar magician, you NEED this effect. Add to cart now!

It’s a great trick but I don’t think mine has been finished that well with out giving nothing away
they look like the ends haven’t been finished very well but done under the right lighting it can’t
been seen

So I ordered this as soon as I saw it it was such a beautiful illusion
I received it today
and LACED UP my shoes 😉 within 5 minutes of playing with this I was so happy and blown away I
ordered a second copy
It looks as amazing as the trailer and I can’t wait to go out into
the world and do this
The only part that will take a little practice is understanding the
gimmicks and tying and untying which isn’t hard at all with a little play time
Within
ten minutes I had it looking good with a days practice I’ll be a pro at this
This is such a
beautiful impossible illusion and I haven’t been this satisfied and excited with a trick in a very
long time
Knocked it out of the park with this one
I’d give it 10 stars if I could

Wow. I wanna leave a review because when i saw this I was so intrigued by the trailer I usually
don't buy anything before I see a review especially since I thought this could be a hit or miss but
I couldn't wait and I pulled the trigger. And it was a good choice. I haven't received it yet but
watching the tutorial it definitely looks like a great illusion live. I have to be honest it was
kind of what I was thinking it was only because I just bought four nightmares. But I wasn't exactly
sure how it worked and it is pretty clever and similar. The tutorial goes over everything and how
to adapt it to your shoe. I can't wait to see it in person and see the quality of it and see if I
have similar problems with hiding things as the laces get a little worn in. They come in black so I
think it will help cover loose ends. This trick was compelling under the radar to me but I was
already getting things to take advantage of the black friday sale so why not get this and get
another free trick. I just wanted to stack it up to get ties. But this trick definitely is a
recommend duh it's such a beautiful visual I think it will stump spectators. I hope I can help
anybody on the fence about this waiting for a review. It's definitely worth it from what I've seen
but I'll update once I mess with it. Got so much magic coming lots of great releases lately can't
wait. Thanks penguin this site's awesome

Such a powerful everyday carry. only downside is, if someone decides to mess with/examine your
shoes.

Can't think of a recent release this practical, visual, clean, and beloved by everyone who sees it.
This thing is a game changer for impromptu social settings, gigs, social media, whatever. And just
so damn fun to do.
It's the perfect iteration of the new wave of visuals-focused,
reality-altering magic a la Tobias Dostal, Caleb Morelli, Luke Oseland, etc. You don't need patter,
justification, or even a plot; the effect is so clear and wonderfully nonsensical that it just makes
sense - like someone's face turning pan-shaped after getting smacked with a frying pan! Perform
near a kid you "hadn't noticed" and find out for yourself.
And that's just the base effect.
There is so much potential for variation here and I'm sure we'll see tons in the community soon. The
principle is just too good! Donnovan shares two extra ideas here; the second is just delightful and
my favorite way to use this.
The only "con" is that I have to sit through learning
'Linking Laces' again.
TL;DR: We're all going to be doing this a billion times,
everywhere, for the rest of time.

I’m sure I’m not going to be able to say anything the other reviews haven’t. This is by far one of
the best purchases I have EVER made in magic. Super easy to perform. Super clean. And super visual.
Checks off all the things you’d want to create one of the greatest illusions IMO to ever be created.
If there’s anything I’m disappointed about, it would be the email penguin sent out to us
all. Before Opening the email it mentions Kevin’s name. However after opening up the email it
doesn’t credit him for his initial comment but goes on to credit more established magicians reviews
like Nick. Kevin is the reason I even found Laced up and his video on how to tie the laces has
helped many people who have struggled in that area.
Ok that’s over with. This is a must
have for anyone who wants to perform what looks like real magic. Social media or in person. 10/10
If I could add a recommendation to penguin. Add the video that Kevin made to the tutorial.
It’s extremely helpful and I can attest to this. Just go to the cafe and see how many people have
requested that I send them the same video.
Back to the effect. Just buy it. You will not
regret this purchase, I promise. Well worth every dollar and you will use this.
