The set comes with 4 balls, 2 shells, and a video tutorial on a simple but complete professional routine you can do straight out of the box (after plenty of practice of course). The extra ball, shell, and video makes this an excellent value.
Pros:
The balls are easy to grip and bounce. The shells are on the looser end but when you combine the two gimmicks, they touch end to end. Backlight does not shine through the shell because of the thickness
Cons:
Visible seams. Not noticeable on a stage but for patter close up style it’s not perfect. The shells are pretty thick making some handlings harder.

In my opinion it’s the best starting set of balls for anybody with an interest in billiard ball magic. The extra ball and gimmick gives more bang for your buck and the video instructions were very helpful.

I own both sizes in both red and white. Both the larger sizes gimmicks have some crack issues, but that’s attributed to drops during the early year of practice. I finally got the white in1.7 to match some other effects in the manipulation realm. I must say that only one of the gimmicks fits, the other is ineffective and will not operate even while loaded and suspended it will not separate from the ball making many of the moves much more difficult than my red set in the same 1.7 size which after three years gimmicks are still intact without cracks.
