I honestly can't believe this effect hasn't garnered more "buzz!" Especially with the current interest in hypnotism. I just finished my first "Mentalism" show and as part of it I did a bit of Hypnotism(magnetic fingers and hands.) I didn't really have the time to devote to a full hypnosis section of the show. I wanted to get in to it, give everybody a hypnotic experience, and then perform a hypnotic demonstration that could be doing in under 5 mn and was a guaranteed hit. I chose BOSS for that and it absolutely killed. Everyone, including the direct participants, were fully convinced that they had just witnessed hypnotism and were thoroughly entertained by the effect.

I'm no purest, especially when I am doing a full show. This effect gets the job done. The best part about it is, if you do have time to work your way into some real hypnosis, routining this into your act will immediately build credibility and set the expectations. For anyone who has studied real hypnosis should know, credibility and expectations are two invaluable aspects to a successful hypnotic demonstration. And worse case scenario you have at least showed people something.

So for anyone who has considered hypnotic demonstrations the use of BOSS can help you to "baby step" your way into real hypnotic demonstrations. For mentalists who would like to add a little hypnotism to their show but don't have a lot of time to devote to subject selection, induction processes, and are looking for a guaranteed hit, Boss will fit that bill as well. Come to think of it....any mentalist or hypnotist should keep one of these around for those occasions. This effect really set the tone for the rest of my show!

first off all im gonna say that this effect is gonna take a lot of practice. a lot of practice in the mirror or in front of the camera is definatley needed. give this effect the time and effort that it needs and soooooo deserves. when i got the confidence to finally try this effect on a couple it was nothing less than amazing. it wasnt like i was even doing a trick is was like an expieriment that went totally right. if that makes sense. all in all this trick when givin the proper time and effort will total amaze and astoned.
