Teaching: Standard Oz Pearlman teaching, Oz goes over the entire routine and explains the TWO moves
you will use for this trick. 10/10
Quality of materials(if it is a gimmik etc): No gimmicks
needed this can be used with your deck or even a borrowed deck.
Difficulty: Requiring no
sleights (with the exception of two moves that barely qualify) Clutch is simplicity at its best.
8/10
Applications: Perfect for restaurant magic and strolling/walkaround magic. This could
also be used for a stand-up or even a stage show. As Oz says in the DVD rarely do you get a card
trick that you can do for Hundreds of people.
Overall Rating: Clutch is by far one of the
cleverest tricks I have seen Oz do and I would easily recommend it. 9/10

It's impromptu, easy, and great.
Literally, you can take anyone's deck and perform
completely surrounded,confidently, and easily.
The mechanics are pretty much nothing, at
least compared to most magic tricks. There is one sleight, but it's incredibly easy, and it barely
counts as a sleight anyways. 95% of the entire trick happens in their hands.
Great effect,
I highly recommend it.
(I'm currently performing it at the Olympics, in that huge crowd)

Bless Penguin and Oz for putting a full performance in the promo video above; it takes guts because
the method seems incredibly obvious. I've been doing card magic for less than a year and I knew
these principles, and could have done Clutch (from a mechanical standpoint) months ago. Consider the
cost of the product tuition for a lesson in how effective magic has more to do with creativity and
presentation than tricky moves.
There's no need to review the trick because you can watch
it performed in full yourself, right above. If you can manage basic card handling, you can do this.
Oz offers some tips including audience management during the primary "move," but I would
have liked to see more time spent on other presentation ideas and philosophy. I'm afraid that the
trick is so easy that it leaves the door open to poor presentation of what should be a miracle.
Perhaps I've been spoiled by Aaron Fisher's DVDs, or Nobledaza's S.W.C.T., where some of the best
stuff on the disc wasn't directly teaching the advertised trick(s).

Clutch!!!!

This words well for large crowds and I like that, some car tricks do not. It uses a spector and lets
the magic happen with them. Again this is very good.
I love this trick Add to cart.

This is probably on the best purchases that I made.
The video explanation is done very well and
the reactions
are great! I would recommend.

You need to be able to handle a deck of cards quite well. It uses an easy and well-known concept
that is easy to learn. It took me about 10 minutes to learn it and another 10 to perfect it.

"Clutch" is, without question, the most amazingly cool card effect I have ever had the pleasure of
encountering. When I first saw Oz perform Clutch I had goosebumps. I was totally stymied, amazed
and thrilled - no exaggeration.
After purchasing Clutch and learning what was involved
with the method, I was further amazed at Oz's brilliance as a magic creator and performer. He is
also an EXCELLENT teacher, second to none.
If you have a deck of cards you have everything
you need to perform Clutch. There is nothing else to buy or to construct. All it will take is some
practice - varying amounts of practice for different people.
Card tricks don't come overly
easily to me and I get very nervous when performing. Therefore I have yet to perform Clutch for
spectators since purchasing it a few weeks ago. I have been practicing it a moderate amount and
performing it for an audience ought to come any day now. If I could perform only one magic trick
for the rest of my life, Clutch would be it, hands down.
If you like card magic I think you
will like Clutch. If you like what you see in the trailer for Clutch on Penguin's web site, I know
you will like Clutch.
