Hi. This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
I wouldn't say this is the BEST
resource on thumbtip magic, but for the cost, this is worth the purchase. It will give you TONS of
effects you can do with a TT, and best yet, it will prompt you to begin thinking for yourself the
possibilities with your thumbtip.
If you're new to thumbtip magic, I would pick this up.
Great compliment to a brand new TT!

I've got to say for under two dollars this is well worth it. I mean they are basically giving these
away. You get details on how to use your thumb tip and different routines with it. Very detailed
instructions, some routines even have pictures. pick this up if you want to get into thumb tip
magic.
I bought this to work on basic thumb tip stuff. It gave a little basic information, then lots of
'effects' that are mostly variations on eachother.
It did help me improve my TT game a
little though.
The number of useable tricks in the book are dependent to some extent on the size of your TT. Also,
since cigarette smoking is now a social no-no a number of suggested tricks aren't practical. That
said, I got a few good ideas from the booklet, so it was well worth the money for a duffer like me.
If you are looking for a pile of ideas on how to use your TT this is a great place to start. Many of
the tricks in this book you may likely not use however there is something new for everyone who
employs a TT in this book. Lots of ideas for a few $$.
As explained in the reviews previous to mine, this is a booklet for people JUST starting out with a
thumbtip. Quite often magic shops give away booklets like this along with the Thumb Tip as a bonus
because it is cheap and a GREAT starting place.
Anyway, this book contains, as it states,
101 tricks with the thumb tip. These are all entirely possible to execute and most of them are
really simple and easy to do. This is a cheap (only $2.50) resource for starting out learning
with the thumb tip. It also includes the proper way to handle a TT.
Anyway, I recommend
this if you are just starting out with a thumbtip; if you have been using one for a while before,
definitely go with something more... Proffesional centered, like the Darwin Encyclopedia of TT Magic
DVDs offered here.
This book is very good, if you have never used a TT before. It teaches the basics, and goes a little
bit further, but if your looking to do stage work with a TT, go with Darwins DVD on TT's. But if you
are serious about getting into TTing, get this book, master whats taught in it, and go amaze
people!!
I liked this book, had no idea how to use the TT, but this book showed me exactly how to use it.
The basic tricks got me started off on creating new tricks of my own.
I would have only
given it three stars, but it's the extremely fast delivery made me and on another star.
The booklet is great for the basic handling of the prop and its uses for vanishes and reappearances.
It also goes into some different routines. A couple of them are really clever and Im glad to have
read them. Some of the others are boring and quite unimaginative. (I thought of a few of the tricks
on my own before I got to them in the book) 3 of 5 stars
This is not a bad start for thumb tip routine. Many magicians underestimate the impact a simple
device such as a thumb tip can have one of performance. The instructions in this book are well
developed.
