Captured is a very very visual version of the cap in bottle trick but it's not as practical as it's
main rival. If you do a lot of to camera magic then I would recommend this, but for real world
performances I would go for the other one on the market.

Great variation on what is out there and the effect is quite great. Justin, however, fails to teach
you to watch out for the two things that can (and will) go wrong with this effect if you are not
ready for them. In fact, in the DVD bloopers, one of the watch outs happens to Justin!! The fact
that he does not address how to handle these is missing from this DVD and are vital for your success
with it. Instead, there are clips of him spinning a cap at the end instead of really passing on what
he would need to have learned from experience with this trick. Very stupid. So, the trick is very
strong, but it is not taught completely and no passing on of real experience here when it could have
been very helpful to do so and made the DVD more valuable than just an overproduced production. I
would rather great teaching than the production that people are putting on these videos lately. His
handling is taught, but without the watch outs and plans to overcome them - watch out!

This effect depends on who you are. It is personally not my style of cap through bottle, but I found
I could base my cap through bottle on the idea of pushing a cap through a bottle from your
spectator's hand. I mean, it's still a brilliant effect, but I wouldn'y use it enough to spend
$30 on it if I hand the chane to do it again. If you have enough money to burn, then go for it.
Otherwise, I would suggest doing this:
1. Go to your local magic shop and ask the person
behind the counter to show you the effect without all the music and flashy lights.
2. If
you like it, go home and buy it from Penguin :)

I was surprised watching this DVD. Justin Miller did a amazing job coming up with a killer method.
This effect happens right in the spectators hands! The cap penetrates the bottle when the cap is on
the spectators hands. That is some strong magic right there. When I have the change I will be
performing this instead of prohibition. I did this for my friends and it floored them so bad. They
didn't know what to think. It's shockingly visual and no funny moves are done here. The setup is
easy and the best thing is that it's easy to perform.

This is a really clean cap in bottle. It is so visual: You put the cap on the spectators hand, smash
the bottle against it and it is gone!! There is no sleight of hand involved like: catching the cap
with the other hand or likewise.... Perform this trick in a perfect moment in the evening with
friends when you had a couple of beers, you just take an empty bottle standing there (it needs a
little set up, but nobody will get this, you just place the bottle to the other empty bottles), you
take the cap off, put it in your friends or strangers hand and smash it into the bottle!! You are
clean at the end, your hands are empty during the cap penetration and you will get incredible
reactions!!! This is one of the best cap in bottle!!Buy this, it's not expensive and use it when
nobody expect it....!

this is very good magic if you do it rite. i agree with the other reviewer, luck can be a cruel
mistress but as magician you must study a trick and try to make sure you dont depend on luck and the
is no too much preparation is just that you cant perform the trick any time as you lke
BE A
MAGICIAN AND STOP COMPLAINING becuase you did not envent a trick and work on the trick antil you get
it your way.

You need to set this up with something to flatten the cap and you can't do it on bars and on
parties, a good cap in a bottle is something you could do anytime, anywhere in a bar or on parties,
but its visual and self working so it's still good, I guess one more step to this one could be
almost perfect! if you don't want a set up needed then wear a PK ring instead

Requires little set up and then you're good to go forever,it's ultra visual and happens in the
spectator's hand.

Ok, the effect is undeniably nice if you pull it off correctly. But luck can be a cruel mistress,
and to be honest when I saw how this trick was done I did feel quite disapointed. I like things like
Abyss and so on, that are real foolers.

so i just received my order today ( also got lit, recomend that also) and watched the video...i
don't know why the review talks about set up...there is a little bit but once it's done you don't
have to do it again and it takes like 2 or 3 mins. the video was straight forward, easy to
understand and follow, the method is awesome, and it's easy to learn the routine. i was performing
it in a mirror in under 30 mins, did it for my wife and kids in about 1 hour. add to cart if you
like freaking ppl out at party's and bbq's.
