The perfect piece of rubber strange has finally been perfected. Pre-made examinable sets of linked bands that you can easily afford to give away as an impossible souvenir.

You've got to watch the demo to see how simple and stunning the complete linking bands performance plays out. You comment that wealthy collectors pay thousands of dollars for a unique impossibly strange object. You then attempt to make one of these rare collectables with your bare hands.

You hand out two loose single bands to be examined. You then display the two single bands at your fingertipsthen have someone press two of the loose strands together.

The two bands link while still in her fingers!

She rubs the linked bands..and they melt apart, unlinking into two loose bands.

She squeezes the loose bands together one last time. She never lets go...never let's them out of her sightand they link again, and stay linked! You let her keep this rare astonishing collectable. And of course she'll always remember where it came from.

Complete with self-working switch and optional handlings.

  • Includes 20 linked sets and 10 singles.
  • Inexpensive refills available.
  • Heavy-duty bands for extra visibility and strength.

this effect(to me)is a wonderful idea.basically when u 'link' a rubberband in your regular rubberband routines now you can let the spectator hold/keep it.the quality is a little crappy.you can see where it was put together.like straight glued together.a little pricey(as is most magic effects)for a small bang.i've performed this now about 30-40 times now and nobody is exactly blown away.they like it but they arent gasping at the idea.i present this well and in their face but most people simply find it cool or forgetable rather than powerful.buy this only if you're looking for variety in your performances.strong magic sinks deep and this however i feel does not.this will register like...dragon thread or a similar effect.

I enjoyed the effect, but the quality of the bands just dont do it for me.In heated areas they can tend to stick, or almost melt together. I kept several in my pocket once and when I took them out they were joined together length wise. (Maybe I made a new magic effect? lol)

The thickness of the bands makes it difficult to perform most of my other band tricks favorites. I can do crazy man's handcuffs with these, but it's not very clean or as easy as I would like. I was hoping to use these bands as a replacement to my regular ones but with an added effect of SLR. -Nope. I found myself carring two sets instead.

I have to say though that my audience reaction was pretty good. Nothing amazing, but it didn't disappoint them either. I give it 3 stars for audience impact, but knocked off a star for quality and versitily.

Not the best quality Report this review

I gave the effect 3 stars because people seem to halfway enjoy the ending. The quality of the bands is poor. They break quite easily.

You can see the gimmick Report this review

This is very disapointing. I cannot tell you how it is done, but I can say that if you hand out the two rubber bands linked together, the spectator will know what happened.

This was a really disapointing purchase for me, and I reccomend Link 2.0 instead, it allows you to do the same, but genuinely in a freaky way!

Great trick, questionable quality Report this review

Great effect, though certainly not a new one. As the main selling point of this is the "factory made" rubber bands, I have to say I'm disappointed with the quality. Just about every set seems to come with imperfections, which mean they're not likely to last very long at all. That said, if you're giving away each set after one use, they may do the job. Still, dodgy quality, and I suspect with a little patience and super glue, you could make your own.

Also, I think the refills need to come with more singles. You get 20 linked bands, and 10 singles... that means that for every two regular bands, they must last for as long as it takes you to get through four gimmicked pairs. Ie: If you start with crazy man's handcuffs (two regular bands) before switching for the gimmick, those original two bands will have to last four sets... And with this quality, I can't see that happening. As they look different to other bands, you can't just find replacements at your local store.

Summary - great effect and huge potential, but quality is leaning towards poor.

This is my first bad review, but this gimmick is so poorly put together that it goes against you when you do the effect, even if you do it flawlessly.

When spectators get the linked bands they normally point out that they look like they were put together. So, even if they don't know how it works exactly they see something fishy and your whole performance goes from a magical moment to a guessing game. They are just bad gimmicks.

Dont listen to them Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on March 8th, 2011
Dont listen to any of them, the rubber bands are slightly more oval than normal and they are made out of something that isnt rubber, but nobody can tell, and nobody cares! the rubber bands are like that cuz they last a LONG time! I love this trick, if your on the line, you should buy it.

A great carry around effect. Report this review

This is a great carry around effect and it's a bonus that you can hand them out as souvenirs for your audience to keep. I was a little disappointed that the rubber bands you receive are not your everyday bands but I suppose that doesn't matter too much. A great routine and a great effect!

Great visual, but has some drawbacks Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on April 2nd, 2010
The visual linking of two rubber bands is awesome. And the fact that you can give these away is another plus. However, the switch is a little tricky to get he ungimmicked bands into the game. The teaching is great (as well as humourous), but at some point you'll have to buy some more gimmick refills. So if you like performing this, you'll be spending extra money. Overall, its a great effect, but with some disadvantages.
