Hey there, fellow magicians,
Let's talk about "The Slop Shuffle with Nick Locapo." Now,
I'll be the first to admit, when I heard about this, I thought, "The Slop Shuffle? Been there, done
that." But oh boy, was I in for a surprise.
Sure, the Slop Shuffle might be old news for
seasoned magicians like us. But let me tell you something – Nick Locapo isn't just handing out the
secret to an old trick. Oh no, my friends. What you're getting here is a masterclass in this
technique. You're getting the kind of insights, nuances, and performance tips that only come with
years of dedication and experience.
I went into this expecting to see the same old song and
dance, but Nick proved me dead wrong. He took this simple technique and showed me sides to it that I
never even knew existed. He got me seeing the Slop Shuffle with brand new eyes, and let me tell you,
if that ain't magic, then I don't know what is.
Nick's passion for his craft shines through
in every minute of this tutorial. His enthusiasm is infectious, his explanations are crystal clear,
and his love for the art is inspiring. He doesn't just teach you how to do the Slop Shuffle – he
teaches you how to breathe new life into it, how to make it your own, how to turn it into pure,
unadulterated magic.
So, my fellow magicians, if you're thinking "The Slop Shuffle? Meh,
been there, done that," think again. Nick Locapo is here to show you that there's always something
new to discover, even in the oldest of tricks. So grab your deck, buckle up, and prepare to be
amazed.
Keep conjuring.

I have done this for several of my coworkers and it is amazing. I have had some of the best
reactions to this. It is quick, very easy, and it’s extremely visual. It’s one of my go-to tricks
when I want to impress.

I've done the slop shuffle, but Nick has some very clever new ideas that look great!

I use this shuffle from the last 50 years, and I still using it, it has an enormous reaction in the
spectators. It is a very easy handing with a great impact, level of difficulty middle low.

As an amateur I already perform this but as a basic trick with a 'drunk' assistant mixing the cards,
but the extras shown on the download for me are a bonus, thanks. As for the ease of the effect this
could easily be the first trick ever a budding magician could perform without any problem.

That was great Nick. You explained it so well and I've just added to my repertoire. Thank you!

An old man told me he invented this trick. I was afraid to show him anything original because I knew
he didn't invent things; he just thought he did. This is a really nice thing to do before doing a
few false cuts. I normally say this is how I first learned to mix cards, then I show a double
undercut, then a z-cut. As I say I learned this in college, "card college." Most people don't know
they are false cuts; they just think you are really mixing the cards in a few different ways. So I
recommend this if you don't already know. I mean, the price is right

A lot of very good ideas.
The presentation is very good. Nick Locapo explains everything
clearly and makes it easy to see what he is doing.
The techniques take some practice (as
does everything worth doing) but they are easy. He shows multiple ways of doing the control - one
of them will work for you.
Watch it to the end. There is a section on multiple cards that
is good for more than one spectator and another section on deck separation which could have been its
own video.
Penguin folks - if you do a rev 2 - separation is not spelled seperation

Great teaching by an awesome instructor who gives many ways of not just how to do it but what you
can do with it! Thanks Nick!!
