Very clever method I respect it, but to small it would have to be with a couple of people. I would highly recommend Jay Sankey's Eye Opener more visiual and you don't have to worry on refills. The bonuses make up for it in my opinion cause the trick is overrated and overpriced.

"In this effect the spectator is shown a queen of spades that can be thoroughly examined. She is asked to place her hand over the queen and imagine her going to sleep. When she removes her hand, seconds later, the queen is sleeping! The magician waves his hand over the deck and the queen begins to wake up from her sleep. Method:
Like all of Dan Hauss' effects the method is great and very clever.

Gimmick:
This effect does involve a gimmick, but once you have it with you, you are all set to go. I could not find my gimmick in the stores I went to so I must special order mine online, and the gimmick is cheap.

Set-up:
The set-up takes about 15 seconds, the only downfall here is that you must perform the effect with-in about a 30 minute time period, of the set-up.

Practicality:
The effect is super practical, and is very easy to perform in front of a spectator.

Teaching:
Nothing wrong here everything is gone over in great detail.

Quality:
The quality of the video is top-notch.

Reactions:
I am yet to try this out on spectators because of the fact that I do not have the gimmick yet, but once I purchase my gimmick, I will have a live performance of the effect up. I don't see why this effect would not get amazing reactions.

Bonus:
The Download/DVD has 2 great bonuses, they are both gum effects which are practical, easy, and hard-hitting.

- You offer the spectator a piece of gum from an opened gum pack
- You show them the pack and then with a shake the pack rewraps itself instantaneously
- You then open up the pack again to show everything is clean

The gimmick is very clever and will take some time making it, you must remake the gimmick each time you do the effect, that is the only downfall to this effect.

Set-up:
Once you have made the gimmick you are set-up

Practicality:
The effect is very practical, and easily performed in front of spectators because you don't do anything that is not natural.

Teaching:
Nothing is left out here.

Reactions:
I have done this effect once and the reactions are very hard-hitting.

Bonus # 2 / Gum through wrapper:

The Effect:
-A pack of gum is showed from all sides
-Put the deck in your hand
-With a little shake a piece of gum penetrates the pack
- You then open the pack to prove that there is now a piece of gum missing

Method:
Well thought out.

Gimmick:
This is amazing, the gimmick is just so well thought out.

Set-up:
This will only take about 2 seconds to get into "position."

Teaching:
Nothing is left out.

Practicality:
The practicality on this effect is great, there is nothing not natural, everything is motivated and you do not do any funny moves.

Reactions:
I have not done this effect live yet but because of the visualness of the effect, this WILL get great reactions, as long as it is performed and well and the technique is there.

Practice:
This effect will take some time to get it to look right but once you have it down, you are good to go.

EVERYTHING:

Overall:
These effects are great to add to your collection of effects because all 3 of these effects are highly visual and very practical.

The gimmick works as it's supposed to and it's reliable however, I don't typically like to carry much stuff around and or buy refills. If you like what you see and can live with these drawbacks ....do it, it works and it looks cool

First, you're selling a product. Show your audience the very basic respect of putting shoes on.

Second do NOT blast your background with eye-bleeding white.

Third Every sentence does not end with the word "OK"! Ok? OK! I had to stop playing the dvd as the constant OK's were driving me nuts.

Finally, the trick is something that would be in "3rd Grader's First Magic Book". I paid under 3 bucks as an Open Box Auction and still feel I overpaid. i suppose that explains why this trick is so often in the Open Box auction. I'd be ticked if I paid anywhere near full price for this.

This effect is very visual. What you see is what you get in the demo. A downfall to this effect is it has to performed within 30 minutes or it won't work as well as you would like it to. It uses a gimmick which you can buy really cheap and it'll last for a long time. This is a very quick harder hitter. I high recommend it!

i got this dvd and its just what you see in it, i like it and it's not that hard to do, its fun to perform, my personal routine that i love to do and it shocks everyone is to start with the sleeping queens and when i finish i jump straight into eric ross shades (3dvd) it's a killer effect. i'd remomond people to by the sleeping queen dvd.. then just practice...

This is a very beautiful and very personal effect. It's a bit like Paul Harris' Twilight angels in that it's small and most suited to a one on one performance. Technically it's very easy and the secret means that this trick is very simple to set-up. However I would have liked to have seen the gimmick included with the DVD (NB. you will need to invest a few more dollars after getting this DVD in order to do the trick).

this effect is too easy for the reactions that you get- people flip when her eyes are closed and when you wake her up it's twice the power

the effect is great so simple and feels like real magic everytime i do the trick everyone just looks in awe, at what just happened the card can even besigned so they know it really is the same card that is haveing the eyes pop open and closed. the effect is simple and easy for anyone to learn and the gimmick can be bought almost anyware so no need to worry about losing it. if you carry it with you the effect can be setup in less then 5 seconds anytime anyware and get you killer reactions
