There are several sizes of square cubes available on the market. This one is a small size. The color
of the sponge is paler than the red sponge balls of goshman. Also, most of the time the ball will
appear smaller than a 2 inch ball. (For this size)
My associate bought another version of
the ball square mystery and it was oversized and disappointing. Even though I would have prefered
the size I had for my first two squares, I'm glad for my purchase for a very weird reason.
Actually I ended up having a totally examinable square by error in my multiple purcahse of these
items. I wish goshman would make some square sponges available on the market that I can leave on the
table at the end of a show so that spectators can look at the props at the end. I got mine, maybe
you will get lucky like me!
I use this square now as a finale in a 3 sponge ball routine (2
in hand 1 in pocket). At the end I smash and end up with a square sponge! WOW.
As for the
Ball Square Mystery that is the correct size I haven't found it yet on penguin magic. Maybe the
"new" fabrication specification for square cubes has changed to this model. I don't know.
I can tell you that this effect is a definitive worker. Use with a green or yellow sponge
instead of a black sponge for best visuals.
