For $30 bucks, this is a steal! You get eight beautiful coins, four Morgan dollars and four walking
liberty halves all tucked away in a padded box. Now these are replica coins, but it's so hard to
tell, the weight is perfect, the milled edges are like new and not worn down, they even sound
beautiful, which will come in handy for a special move that is taught. Your audience won't even know
and think they are the real thing. The video is great. You get over three hours of David teaching
you everything in great detail. The video alone is worth the price. David was so well known as a
master of coin magic, so whether you are just starting out or a seasoned pro, there is something in
here for everyone. My suggestion would be to buy some copper coins, like English pennies, or some
Chinese coins. That way you can apply what You've learned into some really coin coin changes and
transpositions. It would be amazing if they rereleased more of David's work soon. Im more than
satisfied with my purchase and I know you will be too.

To start with, David Roth is David Roth. Even if the videos look old, you still learn from the
master. Nothing to add here.
So are the coins well made? I would say so. They have a nice
clinking sound, and if you don not like the worn out look, you can polish them to make them shine
nicely (what I did).
Well then, why did I take one star off?
One of the first routines
David Roth teaches, Winged Silver, requires five coins. So does the next one, Chink-A-Chink.
And as a student I wonder, why only four and not five coins?
Especially because you will
want the fifth coin to look very much like the other four coins.
So if you are thinking of
getting the set, I recommend you check with Penguin, if they can sell you a matching coin.
At the time I am writing this it is priced at $32.76 with a list price of $39.95 It would be a great
value at $60 or even $80 for the video alone. If there is any issue at all it is that the video is a
download and there is no index. Some will find that annoying but it's a small price to pay for an
otherwise great product. There are other great Roth vids out there but this is super cheap and super
great. The replica coins are a bonus.
This is, hands down...for the price, the best
introduction to coin work ever. If you really want to go all the way then you can also shell out for
a copy of Roth's book "Expert Coin Magic" by Richard Kaufman but that will not be cheap.
This is a great teaching video that covers the basics and takes you to the next level. The video and
explanations are clear and easy to understand. the product comes with 8 coins in total that are
replicas (4 Walking Liberty's and 4 Morgan Dollars. the quality of which will not raise any
suspicions.
This is perfect for anyone looking to learn coin sleight or for a gift as the
price is very reasonable and the tutorial is outstanding.
I’m not a huge coin guy. I know a hand full of sleights and effects so I figured I’d pick this up
since it’s something I’d like to expand into and become more comfortable with. For $32, the value is
insanely good. The coins look and feel great and David Roth is top notch. I’ve been playing around
with them for a week or so and I’m already feeling more confident with coins. There’s a few effects
I’m building up towards where I’ll need 5 coins (seemingly 4) so I actually just added a second set
to my cart. It beats some of the prices elsewhere for what you’re getting and I’ll be guaranteed
that they match. Highly recommend.
I just kinda bought this on a whim and I am glad I did. You get 4 replica half dollars and 4 replica
dollar coins. They are absolutely beautiful. The teaching definitely makes this worth while. It's
perfect for all skill levels.
