Tobias is such a brilliant creator. Liquify is an ingenious effect. There’s really nothing else
quite like this on the market. Make virtually any small object you can hold in the palm of your
hand, turn to liquid and back to solid. Or produce a solid object from a liquid. Once you get this
kit in your hands your brain will start working out the possibilities.
When i say limitless
potential I’m not rehashing a marketing point, I’m straight up telling you how it is. Tobias makes
sure you have everything you need to start performing right out of the box. Instructions are high
quality as you would expect from Murphy s magic.
Some people wonder if there’s a mess to
clean up after the effect or if you need to wash your hands when your done…..there’s no mess and you
can use liquify to lead directly into another effect. While there is no mess to clean, your hands
will be “dirty” at the end and a ditch will need to be made. However with the handling taught, you
are able to show both hands empty at the end before the ditch, with some minor sleights that any
beginner should be able to grasp.
This effect looks like real magic which is exactly what
you should want. It’s quick to set up and the clean up is just as easy. Works with a large variety
of objects and built high quality and should last you a lifetime if you take care of your stuff.
Highly practical for close-up magic.
You will absolutely not be disappointed.

Let me first start off by saying my ring routine is my go to most used effect without ring magic I
wouldn’t call myself a magician at all really. My patter even is based around the metal being a
strange unknown substance that melts with heat and friction. When I saw this on a black pool video I
was like what was that, since it was only the very quick display and no one really mentioned it. I
knew if this were to be released I’d pick it up.
I find the price point a bit of a stretch, this
is why.
While white black and the metallics are great I felt as if the other colors were just
filler to up the price point. Even just one of the metallics would have sufficed (sure I’d probably
not bought this had that one been just gold but I think you get my point). The colors that are
provided are nice but I was really thinking there would be a ketchup red but is more like a brown
tamato, sure this would work for restaurant workers where salads have cherry tomatoes but that’s
about it, I don’t think it passes for ketchup really the brown(yeah chocolate! Someone will like
this presentation but I’m meh on it?), Carmel and ketchup just all look pretty similar, and green
gummies? A cherry red gimmick would have been better for this. My rings weee not consistent in the
coloring either with the paint being spotty in three places inside each of the rings.
I am
really hoping a more silver/chrome Mylar color gimmick as well as a cherry red gimmick will be
available in an expansion pack.
Overall its a decent enough project to get a very great piece
of eye candy but it’s just such an instant even with all the thoughts that went into it just seems
like a slimmer project at a lower price would have been rated a bit higher, a lot of people are
talking like this is trick of the year? I hope not.

I purchased this elsewhere about a month or two ago and finally opened it. I used to play around
with symbol moves quite a bit and haven’t touched them for a while. I have to say on this that he
stumbled across something that borders on amazing, and accidentally brilliant, a little bit of
practice, and the visuals on this are amazing. You can apply them to so many different things That
you want to melt right in front of people’s eyes. As stated, the rings themselves are nothing fancy,
but you may opt to work this out borrowing a ring (silver or gold) or using something black plastic
(sharpie cap) or other things you may use/carry and the melt material is really the prize here. You
can use objects that are white, dark brown, caramel colored, black, silver, or gold. You can choose
anything you feel is easy to manipulate, not just rings. Yes the price point is somewhat high but if
you feel the effect is pretty amazing, that eases the financial hurt some. To address the previous
color complaint, yes, there is no red that matches ketchup, but no yellow for bananas, etc. you can
grab a piece of any crayon that matches and use that! Just seeing thick liquid where there was only
solid moments ago, and the a completely clean/dry hand again IS the amaze factor!

This is a creative trick to perform with well made and clever gimmicks. The tutorial is clear,
thorough, and fun to watch. After heavy use and practice I am concerned the gimmicks may wear, but
they are made of material that is pretty long lasting. Tobias Dostal is an excellent magician and
performer. He is constantly creating memorable and very memorable magical moments. I always
consider the trick if it is a Tobias Dostal creation. I definitely recommend this trick.

The rings looked like they were spray painted and the inside of the rings weren’t hit with enough
paint, because it’s splotchy. Not a problem for performing on social media, but if you want to give
a spectator your ring, they will notice the bad paint job. The colors of the gimmicks themselves
are a bit more muted than in the trailer and how good it looks will depend on the lighting and which
gimmick you’re using.
The teaching is pretty good though and it goes over the different
handlings.
It’s a fun trick to play with and perform though. If you liked the way it looked in
the trailer to perform and don’t mind some defects, you’ll still probably like it.
Not a
bad trick, just bad manufacturing process.
