Like many others, I bought the original psypher and used it with a deck of cards. I wasn't happy
with the results through the card box so I scraped it. Not wanting to give up on the effect, I took
a chance and ordered a 3x5 pad to attach to a notepad. It took some arts and crafts time but I
eventually got the pad wound directly into the notepad's spiral in place of the traditional
cardboard backing. The result is a mentalism routine that absolutely kills. I primarily use it to
guess a girl's first kiss but the possibilities are endless. Put the psypher marker into a super
sharpie, learn a good center tear, and then own a crowd.
I've used this gimmick 50+ times
and have never failed or been caught. Add to cart.

Very pleased. To get a cleaner, sharper image, I took a 3x5 top spiral pad and I completely
“unspiraled” it, releasing the sheets and covers. Then, using the back cover as a guide, and using
a handheld 1/8” hole punch (purchased on Amazon for under $10), I punched the wire holes and then
reassembled the pad using the 3x5 Psypher as the new back cover. Having eliminated the old
cardboard back cover, I have greatly reduced the interference between the magnetic pen and the
Psypher material (as described in the DVD), and my images are more reliable. Also, I have done this
twice so far, once with the smooth face out and once with the rough face out. Both work well.
Rough side looks more like innocent cardboard, but there is an odd mottling from the iron filings
that makes it look beat up. Try it both ways and choose for yourself.

This new Psypher Pad 3X5 is way much better than the old one. It works perfectly every time all the
time.

Works well like my other Psypher pads and my Informant Wallet. The layers should not be too thick to
have a good impression. The Psypher gimmick should be calibrated too before use to get a darker
impression. This is a good buy if you want to customize notebooks, pads, wallets, etc.

This is the second psypher pad I've ordered. I have never had a problem with getting a good
impression. I always "prime" the pad before I use it and have a 100% success. It has never failed
me.
Was not massively impressed with the original effect as it was a bit linear. You think of
card, write it down and the performer reveals it. This pad can do so much more. I now incorporate it
into an invisible deck and it kills! Imagine: the spectator is given a pack sealed in an envelope.
They are told to think of a card and write it down on a post it note which they keep. The performer
never touches nor sees it. The envelope is opened and a pack of cards are withdrawn. Once opened
they are spread through and an inverted card is shown. This is removed and placed to one side. The
spectator is then asked to show everyone the post it note which shows what card they wrote down. It
matches the card that has been removed from the pack! At no point have they told anyone their choice
of card. This effect is only possible with the pyspher pad and its unique properties. Even my wife
is impressed! I have also created a notepad using my psypher pad and it is completely examinable
when it is initially handed to the spectator. Love this product! It's only a tool - you need to make
it great.
