THIS IS FOR CARD WARP. This is a Magic Makers version of the 2 folded cards where the inside card
somehow suddenly shows both the face and back at the same time. There are no warped cards(as in the
picture, requires regular cards) and no "upside down" or "every which way" or "travel through the
time machine" or even any warping and I think their false claims for this trick are sickening. I
have been doing this trick for many years and think the handling shown in this DVD is awkward, dirty
and not as mysterious as it should be and the routine is just boring. This can be a good trick but
not from this DVD.

There are 2 methods that Wayne reveals.
The sleight method
The geek method
The geek
version is probably how you think it would be done, but it is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Perhaps, I
just have to small of an eye pocket. The geek method almost damaged my eye, and I was always in pain
pulling it out of my eye.
The sleight method is nice, but I am the kind of guy who likes
close-up magic with no one trying to examine everything.
For me, this trick was not worth
the money, but to others it may be worth is since he does do a "cut and restore" of a thread as well
as the main trick, but I was confused on the "cut and restore." It wasn't clear TO ME, but it could
be to you. I would say buying this is a risk to your wallet. I also never write reviews so that
should tell you something.

Because of my genetics, I could not perform the geek method because of the way my eyelid is. The
sleight method is not as convincing in my opinion. If you have the correct genetics for this, I
highly recommend it!

I've been performing the geek method of this for quite some time now and it is nothing short of
astonishing for any audience. Takes some chutzbah to do, but once you get used to the sensation,
it's really not that bad.
I love all of Wayne Houchin's effects. I picked this dvd up at one of his lectures here and I gotta
say, I am a huge fan of the trick! It's gross and awesome at the same time!
You learn what
is called the "geek method" in which you really do pull the thread out of your eye, this will take
some practice as it will feel uncomfortable and even painful at times but with practice, the pain
goes away and feels normal.
You also learn a sleight of hand method which creates the
illusion that you are pulling it out but you're really not, no pain in this one.
As well as
that, you learn the classic broken and restored Gypsy thread effect! Great trick by the way!
If you like this kind of gross magic, get this, you will not be disappointing!
