This is a great effect and the best idea I've seen to end a sandwich effect. Sankey effects are a
hit or miss with me and this one is a hit. With the DVD, you get two different gimmicks and over an
hour of explanation. Jay packs in tons of idea and handling for the effect. If you don't care for
one method just skip to the next one. What you get aside from the methods is even better, Jay talks
about the way he thinks about magic. His logical thought process in creating this effect was great
to hear about and adds value to the project.
The best effect on the project is the two
card transposition. The promise is different from most card effects as you introduce something
strange you found in a deck of cards, 3 cards stuck together (The Ace, Two and Three of Diamonds). A
volunteer then picks a card (10 of Clubs) which then transposes with the center card in the strip.
It great and got good reactions when I performed it.
The reason it didn't give the project
5 stars is because of two things. I love a live performance on a DVD and this DVD would have
benefitted by including one or two of them. Also, the texture and feel of the gimmicks felt off to
me. They were a bit slick and glossy to me but none of the people I presented it to mentioned it. So
if this looks like something that is your style check it out, or not, the choice is yours.

This trick has fooled everyone I've showed it to. Of course that would mean that it wouldn't matter
that the cards are unrealistic. It still just kinda bugs me. The cards have a bicycle design, but
clearly are not printed by the USPCC. The cards are also a different shade of white than regular
cards. The spectators never seem to notice either of those things though. I just wish the cards were
a little nicer. 4.5 Stars- Recommended

I Love Jay Sankey. And I've been able to combine this with other cards tricks to make some really
cool illusions that really entertain my audience.
Easy to do
Good instructions
Great
impact
Like most of Mr Sankey material this is really well done and well explain. I did rank it 5 stars
because he covers much more than the basic skilled in order to do the trick. He could have limited
to basic handling but he went further and share a lot of tips to cover many variation of the trick.
Well done!
*Supersonic anyone?-
There are numerous alterations and creative uses for this effect and
gimmick. Then again you can pick up two sticks on the street and form your crowd. I truly recommend
Jays DVD for the purpose of generating ideas; Get the trick, learn the moves, play the act.
Sankeys revolutionary ideas will keep your magic case, thin, and your wallet *fat.
