What I loved:
- Full Performance explained. Not like the FISM act on the Green Collection that
was only half explained. Here you learn the full act.
- Special Moves, Shuffles and Steals are
amazing. Some are very hard to master. Other will take you a week to start using them. Long week
- Interview was really the best. I love a close Interview with the magician. How he
started. Very emotional Interview. An Interview like this should be included in any great
collection.
What I didnt love:
- Lennart Green its a great magician, he is a MASTER
but a terrible teacher.
- Some routines were not very good or entertaining. At the end of the
day, you as a magician are an entertainer. You do magic so others can have fun. Lennart Green
achieve that with his style that is unique but if you learn some of his magic you really need to
adapt it to your own style.
Overall, I highly recommend this collection if you are a Green
fan, Love card Magic, Have experience with card manipulation. If you are a beginner you better start
with other great collections like Michael Ammars Easy to Master.

This DVD project is truly amazing. First of all the DVD quality and production is so beautiful and
well put together and the packaging is stellar. The Lennart Green deck is awesome and has a
beautiful design. Stolen cards is an excellent trick and the deck that you get is very entertaining.
1st DVD- Lets just say the performance is so fun to watch and be amazed by.
Then
there is the explanation. It shows you how to do everything. The camera angles and diagrams are
awesome. You will love this DVD. The only complaint is that the 7-heap cut is a little hard to pick
up on, but you will get it after a while, and you will use it. The top shot is only taught on the
first disc and is too brief of an instruction. That is the biggest problem of the set.
2nd
DVD- This DVD has awesome moves. (About 35) They are hard, but you will learn them eventually. The
card separations rock. I love the false rosetta shuffle, its amazingly convincing, the best fake
shuffle ever! This DVD goes into deep explanation, and it is worth $100 alone at least. An
awesome trick using the mirror count is explained in the bonus section.
3rd DVD- The
tricks in this DVD rock. There are 7 of them. My favorites are The Rainman and index red and black
which is an out of this world effect that is amazing. Stolen cards is on this DVD and like i said it
rocks. A bonus effect is on this disc also which is a solid through solid match routine.
4th DVD- This DVD like the others is awesome. There are 3 card tricks, 3 money tricks, three
shell game, an awesome gag, and a cool origami trick. I love the Poker Plus moves and the gag.
Interview- The interview is stunning and interesting, and a highlight of the project. I wish it
was longer than it is. It already is about 80 minutes. There is another card trick taught in the
interview that is really cool.
Overview- I cant recommend this set enough. It is awesome
and every card magician needs it. Trust me and invest your money in it. This is the best purchase I
have made in magic ever!

The material is good, but Lennart is really a very poor teacher. Good luck trying to understand any
of the moves from watching these video. It is really sad, because the quality of the filming is
good. The angles chosen are just awful, and his explanations quasi in-existent. My guess is that if
you can truly understand anything from these videos, it is because you already mastered the moves.
This being said, if you are willing to put hours of your time trying to create your own techniques
from the tid bit of info you gathered from these videos, you could develop some good material.

First off, let me say the limited edition is just packaged beautifully and comes with Lost Cards,
which I've annoyed, er, entertained many people with and it's a jawdropper, and the best thing is
it's practically self-working! These cd's really give a good look into Mr. Green's devious thinking
behind his ingenious and sometimes very subtle methods. The first disk is one of his killer
performances and explanations for everything--every slight, every nuance. Very cool. Disk two is
sleights and controls and false cuts/shuffles. I guarantee you will find some invaluable stuff
here...not everything is simple, mind you, but there is some incredible, practical stuff here. Disk
3 is several KILLER self-working tricks (Rainman is just amazing and thoroughly astounds people).
Disk 4 is some miscellaneous things, like a shell game and his again INGENIOUS twists on coin
sleights and effects. There is also a series of interviews which at first I didn't care about, but
when I watched them they became my favorite part of the package--Mr. Green genuinely seems as humble
as he is talented and is quite candid about his life both inside and outside of magic. Don't skip
the interviews! So treat yourself, save up for these CD's and I guarantee you will not only just
enjoy watching them, you will learn something, perhaps many somethings, as I have.

Lennart has his own unique style, laid back and relaxed. He comes across as though he is struggling
with the cards, making sloppy moves and mistakes - but in reality he is performing miracles with
absoloute precision. This is truely great stuff. Some of it is difficu;t and will require a lot of
practice but well worth it.
Great for all levels.
There are some self working tricks on DVD
3 which are totally amazing - I have performed Index Red and Black, Stonehenge and Two Dragons
getting amazing reactions - so easy when you know the methods, yet some of them still amaze me as I
perform them!
Highly recommended and worth every cent.

The price was high but the value was higher. Lennart is a genius. If I ever get an opportunity to
see him in person you can bet I will be there.

There is a potentially huge payoff for any cardician who wants to put in the work necessary to
master the skills taught in these DVDs. This is the real work. And it will take real work to learn
it.
That said, These DVDs have not been produced to fully show or explain the handlings.
You have to pay careful attention, stop, rewind, and replay many times in order to figure out
exactly what is going on.
The handling is rarely (never, actually, that I recall) shown
from the magician's point of view. You get top views, bottom views, front views, and side views, but
never a straight forward view of what your hands should look like from your POV as the performer.
That is a serious flaw and why I didn't give these DVDs a 5 rating.
Similarly, the
explanations are rarely complete. You have to use outside resources to research the skills you are
unfamiliar with which are referenced but not explained on the DVDs. And you have to experiment quite
a bit to figure out the handlings you saw, but don't seem to be able to duplicate. Fortunately most
of those slights are at least listed by name in references on the DVDs.
A companion
booklet to the DVD would be a great addition if it covered all the slights and gave detailed
descriptions of the handling.
Wow, there is so much quality in these videos I can't do it justice with this review.
This
author I was reading (I forget which book it was)
mentioned that he saw Lennart Green in a bar
do the
Crazy Man's Handcuffs with 2 corks from wine bottles.
I've been searching for that,
and it's listed in the contents as "And Many More!!!" in volume 3.
He does it at 1 hour and
35 minutes and 23 seconds into
volume 3, on top of a building with matches.
You can also
use toothpicks, cigarettes, and possibly chapsticks (if you have Octopalm, which I bought from
Penguin). Nevermind on the chapstick idea...I just tried it and it's too heavy; but I'm definitely
doing this with matchsticks (you don't need Octopalm for matchsticks).
In addition to his
excellent presentations and teachings, there is also a great 20 minute interview with him at the end
of each volume. He tells great stories, for example about Rene Lavand, the amazing one-armed
magician who's probably better than you if you're reading this.
This 'masterfile' goes into a lot of detail about everything Mr Green does. He teaches you a whole
lot. There isn't just slights, productions and a whole lot of false shuffles; there's gags, small
tricks and clever techniques.
He does a good job in teaching and explaining his genius and the
different camera angles often help.
The interviews are actually wonderful to watch. They are
far more interesting than I originally anticipated. Must watch.
Many of the things this guy does
are quite advanced. They will take a lot of practice and patience.
The main problem I
encountered with what he taught was that it was very table oriented. I'm the kind of guy that
usually finds himself performing standing up and a lot of the techniques that are included in the
DVD are very table based. You also have to watch your angles with some of them.
Other than that,
I LOVED it. As Mr Green reveals his tricks, you can tell that he aches with every word. He does not
want to reveal his creative brilliance and so I understand it pains him to 'give away' his magic.
What he reveals, however, is truly remarkable.
If you're patient and disciplined you'll relish
this DVD set and I encourage you to buy it.
If you're just looking for an exposure of some of
his tricks: don't bother.
Don't let the price stop you from buying it,it's awesome
