I have three words to sum up,"Punctured 2.0". Practice, Practice, Practice. The effect can look so
fluid if you get it down, bur getting it there will take some serious work. The mechanics with the
gimmick are smooth and the D.V.D. is very explanatory, the rest is up to you. I recommend picking
one style and sticking with it. I have been practicing in front of a webcam and the playing it back.
I will probably have at least a thousand repetitions before I try to show it, for me it will need to
feel second nature. Some of you may get it a lot quicker than myself. I do know if it isn't fluid
you're gonna get busted. It's fun to practice and I'm glad I purchased it, but in my opinion you
have to be perfect to use it.

Very nice visual effect. Takes practice for the true illusion. Should be a little bit less pricey.

Wow! I hate getting so nervous reading reviews about how hard and how much practice the trick takes
before I buy. Bought it and love it. No crazy sleights at all. So easy. If you have a PK ring kind
of "prohibition" style an airstrike. Very visual. Very awesome! Happy as hell! Only complaint is no
Canadian currency! Come on neighbors .. show us some love!

This is a very nicely made gimmick, I am quite satisfied that I bought this.
It has
specific handling based on skill, I takes a little knack. PRACTICE!!!
Like any good trick you
have to work for it, very fluid routine.
Quite Visual...
I would recommend this trick to
anyone!

I really like this trick. I already have some of the moves down...without too much time
involved...but some of the harder moves will take some time.
It is a fun trick. I
performed it for my son and he really had no idea how it happened. I like that it offers other
ideas with the pen...especially if you already have a pen trick arsenal.
If you are
curious about this...I would say get it. Just know you'll have to put some time in to make some of
the motions very fluid. Totally worth the practice.

Very simple cool idea and with some practise should be quite a powerful effect. I'm glad I got it

I love how this looks even more than the mechanical versions. The sleights didn’t feel particularly
complicated to me, but I’m moderately adept at coin magic, so it came pretty naturally. I got it
looking as smooth as the demo video with about an hour of practice. I also came up with an extra
removal move based on a move in the David Williamson lecture on Penguin. I actually sought this out
because of his move on that lecture and I thought this would be a great coin for it. But it’s more
than just a great karate coin. The pen also plays a nice role and the moves are so well constructed.
I don’t love the in the air stab as much cause it’s almost too many simultaneous effects, which (to
me) breaks the suspension of disbelief in a way that telegraphs the method. It does look cool, but I
think the other versions look exactly like how you would do it if you could actually push a pen
through a coin. I don’t even think it has to be done as fast as the demo video. I slow it down quite
a bit, and the moves still work great at a slower speed.
I could see how some might be
disappointed if they thought this was going to be a mechanical gimmick, but sometimes I love an
excuse to sit down and practice sleight of hand until the moves become muscle memory. That’s a type
of satisfaction that you can’t get from gadgety gimmicks. This is really, really fun.
This product is great. Especially for someone still fairly new. Simple, powerful with great
instruction. The only downside (which is why it’s rated at 4 stars) the manufacturer released a 2.0.
But didn’t include the bonus from 1.0. Not a big deal. But kinda of a bummer when the vid says “and
bonus gimmick”, but there is none. Not a deal breaker. Just evidence of a repackage. Which is fine,
because I didn’t know about the bonus until watching the vid. To others newer, you can do this
trick within minutes. But as with all good magic. Practice is what makes this really good. I goes
without saying but, in the words of a friend of mine. Practice is what changes passable to magical.
Takes a lot of practice to get it to look as good as in the trailer but once you do, you'll even
have fun doing this in front of the mirror to yourself. well made gimmicks, will last you a
lifetime.
