"After seeing the demo for Redemption I became hopeful for magic again...I LOVE IT!"
-Justin Miller

The Effects:
Use Redemption for visual vanishes, restorations and changes or as a secret switching device. You'll be miles ahead of your audience before they even realize that something has happened.

Redemption: A signed card is torn up and the pieces are placed in the spectator's open hand. The torn pieces and signature are seen until the last second when they unexpectedly vanish from the spectator's hand! You turn over the top card of the deck and find that it is the signed and restored selection.

Fuse Redemption:
A selected card is torn into quarters and held in your open hand. After a magical wave of your hand, the pieces are unfolded to show that they are no longer torn up, but fused together.

Covered Redemption:
A selected and signed card is torn up and covered by a single indifferent card. When the card is lifted by the spectator, they see that the pieces have vanished. Then they turn over the indifferent card to find that it has changed into the selection and is fully restored.

No-Sleights Redemption:
Perform Redemption without any sleight of hand. It's easy, fun and you'll fool yourself.

Contained Redemption:
A selected card is torn up and handed to the spectator to protect. Even under these impossible conditions the selection repairs itself!

Torn Prediction:
You reveal the wrong card when trying to locate a selection, out of frustration, you tear the wrong card up. Wave the deck over the pieces and they transform into the torn up selection.

Dollar Redemption:
A borrowed bill is smashed into the deck, vanishes and is found in the center right next to the lost selection.

Double Redemption (AKA Zoom-Pow!):
A selected card is torn into quarters and covered with a face-up indifferent card. The pieces vanish and upon examining the indifferent card, they find the selection printed on its back.

Flash Redemption:
A selected card is torn into quarters, it's covered by the deck and instantly becomes fully restored without creases.

Clipped Redemption:
Here's a great way to pass out your business card. The deck is in its box and a business card is folded in half and paper clipped. The business card is pressed into the deck and vanishes only to be folded over and clipped to a selected card.

I was disappointed with this trick and will not use it in my show. First let me say it IS a nifty idea Chris came up with however in real up close situations you better make sure there are no people with VERY GOOD eye sight. In some situations where people are not watching closely you can probably fool them (sometimes). I don't like hit or miss,
50/50 odds type tricks.
I performed this trick about 15 times in various situations and was burned bad about five or six times. The problem is this: if you do 'the move' too slow you will get burnt by observant folks and if you do 'the move' too fast you draw attention to something you Don't want people to want to request a closer look see. I suggest a dimly lit room filled with heavy drinkers for best results.

I love the torn & restore idea and the idea that it can be used as an ending to the ambitious card and if you think a little, you can quickly make up your own tricks with this gimmick. There is real potential in this effect.
the only thing I can see as a disadvantage is that your hands seems a bit awkward then you handle the gimmeck. then i saw the learnig DVD I quickly noticed the discomfort in he's hands

one of those tricks that you buy and still makes you go WOW even when you know how its done, seriously easy and chris tells you how to create your own gimick and repair which is so awsome these days. He goes through in detail if your just starting of in magic, great starting trick to buy, and even if your a good card handler, you may learn somthing new to your technique

Definatly recomended,

One of the best card gimmicks ever made! Report this review

I've been using this since I preordered it when it was released, and it is one of the best usable card gaff/gimmicks I've ever used and seen. I always get good reactions from people and its not very hard to perform, especially if you already do an ambitious card routine. The DVD has a ton of material on it and instruction for everything you need to know. Definitely worth the price.
