I have purchased several Pass DVD's. A recent purchase was almost twice the price (.00), and I got
to watch a guy, basically on vacation, "teach" the riffle pass. Not good, not worth the money.
Alex Pandrea demonstrates and teaches this with all the detail and patience you would use to
teach a friend how to do this pass perfectly. And there are two excellent passes on this DVD.
I
have a download of Alex doing the "Monet" paintbrush change. I wish he had made a DVD like this
instead. It's the details and time he spends going into the real details of the Pass on the DVD that
made the difference.
I wish Alex and some of the other top Sleight guys would do a card sleight
seminar in Vegas or NYC, like they do with Hypnosis, so we could attend, learn and get some hands on
lessons from the masters. I know I would attent.
Buy this DVD if you want really learn the pass.

I'm tempted to give this DVD a higher rating based simply on Alex's skill at performing the pass.
He's absolutely amazing at this sleight, probably the only person I've ever seen do it better than
Jason England. Watching him perform the pass is nothing short of astounding. However, I have to be
honest, it's not exactly anything terribly special as far as the actual information goes.
Don't get me wrong, Alex does an excellent job, and if you don't already own two or three other
videos outlining the pass, I would highly recommend this one. However, if you already have Jason
England's pass instruction video, or any of the other highly touted videos, there's no real reason
to spend more money on this one. You'd be better off just redoubling your efforts and practicing
harder with the information you already have on the subject.
I will say that if isn't
overly significant to you, and your pass isn't where you'd like it to be, you can't have too much
information on such an integral sleight, so buy all means, get this DVD. It's got some great
information in it ... it just doesn't really break a lot of new ground for more experienced pass
mechanics.
Thank you for your take Alex, and overall I'm happy I bought this. I feel as
though I spent to save myself a month or two of practice in perfecting the pass, which I consider
to be a good investment.

This is a great move and when u see Alex doing it,it blows your mind. But I'm not going to lie,if
your new to card magic then it is a hard move to learn but even Alex says on the DVD that it took
6months to a year to learn so stick with cos its worth it.

This DVD does exactly what it says it will do. It gives you great instruction on 2 clasic passes.
But,there are no real tricks presented for their use.
I haven't worked on the brick yet, but,
the turnover pass(which I had given up as impractical)gave me another way of looking at card
selection.
Try this card in your pocket. It looks like you never did anything, because you only
flip the deck when you should.
Flip deck to show cards face up -"NAME a card in middle." Flip
again using turnover pass to bring the card to top. Double lift for a second card, and put (1st
card)in your
pocket. Use turnover pass to put 2nd card into middle of deck.
Then it's
presentation. I can't find 1st card, but I find 2nd card. Then,show 1st card in pocket.
Try
it. It looks like you did nothing - which is my presentation goal.

I really liked this Dvd not because it's well explained (which is) but because Alex pandrea saw the
difficulties we generally have after learning the pass in a book. I already knew the two passes but
couldn't perform it in front of someone, now I can.

This DVD is excellent in teaching the moves step by step. When I first received this and understood
the moves, I had my wife warch me so later she could judge any improvment. She went from "impossible
to do that without being seen" to now, "Did you do it? I only saw a slight movement" And this is
with her burning my hands. God I love it, I can really do it. I've only had this for about 2 weeks,
so you can do it too! Buy.

I have purchased several DVD's that deal with the pass. I would consider myself a novice magician
with a desire to perfect several card moves obviously the pass is a must have. Alex does an
excellent job explaining the pass and teaching it to a novice like me. His skill level is nothing
short of astonishing and a goal i will strive for. If i could only keep one DVD of the several i
own this would be the one. So if you are deciding on a few my recommendation is to start here with
The Brick Pass by Alex Pandrea.

These are just classic passes....He teaches them well and adds his own touches. He is REALLY good
at it, which would take A LOT of practice. I'm just not a patient guy :)
Again, 3 maybe 4
stars because there is nothing new for the most part.

This is a great DVD. I have been working on the pass for about half a year. When i got this Dvd I
was blown away, I found hidden gems, its the tips that count in this Dvd. I have practicing for
about a month and it has improved so much. The turnover pass was great to. If you want to enhance
your card magic, Get this, 10/10 Great pass dvd

This was an awesome choice. Alex Pandrea handles the cards extremely well and explains his handlings
of this pass in great detail. At first the particular handling is odd and difficult, but like
anything new it just takes practice. Highly recomended.
